Blue-Green Deployment Approach for Zero Downtime Overview: Create a new environment (Blue) with updated code while the old environment (Green) continues serving traffic. Steps: - Launch a new ASG with the updated AMI or code in a new environment. - Test the new ASG to ensure the application is working as expected. - Update the target group or Route 53 record to redirect traffic to the new ASG. - Terminate the old ASG once traffic is fully routed to the new one. Advantages: Minimal risk, as the new environment can be tested in isolation.
