I know it's been 3 years but, I would still like to clarify you don't need to stop or get off your horse to change outfits, simply bring him down to a trot with R1 or if you have 4/4 bond just let go of everything and hold square. Also, if you're trying to climb and it's too steep you can crouch for a better grip.
I live in Kentucky and suprisingly, cumberland falls in game looks a LOT LIKE THE REAL CUMBERLAND FALLS. There's actually a trail on the side of the falls where he's going. There's no treasure there tho lol.

The first map is outside of strawberry there's an old guy up on a cliff by the road and you will hear him talking about it if you go up to him he trys to leave so just kill him and loot his body. That's how I got it at least
Throughout your play through, If you repeatedly visit the sheriff's office in Limpany and the train wreck near Cotorra Springs you may find the gold bars have respawned from time to time. Same goes for cash stash, jewellery bags and gold nuggets. Doesn't work for treasure map quests and this is not a hack. It just happens and was never patched.

I got it I have 30 goldbars in total now worth $500.00 each, thanks for all your helpfull tips. Treasures completed so far. 1. High stakes, 2. Poisonous trail, 3. Jack Hall, 4. Sketched map. plus the strange statues puzzle, The Train Wreck, Limpany which I keep going back to as its a super easy way to collect the gold. I havent got the braithwait manor gold yet as thats one that I will collect at a later time as I am still in chapter 3 at this time.
Thats why right before the last arthur mission you go to the pig farm where you get drugged and lose your money then come back as john to get money back.
I've got 10 grand and fully upgraded my camp etc best horse gear bought every single clothing i can find you without glitching or cheating if you do the Valentine bank heist in chapter 3 but buy the lockbreaker kit in saint denis you get 4k just off that heist plus all the gold bars you find around the map poisonous trial etc you stack too the point you don't need gltuches unless you wanna take the fun out the game ruin it by doing the gold bar duplication glitch

Great vid man. I love that you left your derfs in. Slipping off the cliff cracked me up. I have fallen, slipped and catapulted off my horse 10,000 times and it still makes me chuckle. Im on my 2nd playthrough and just robbed the guy w the 1st map. I missed it my 1st playthrough.

I found that little cave behind the waterfall the first night I was playing & nothing was there because I don’t have the damn treasure map yet. I had a feeling it would be a treasure location like RDR1.
I just found out you have to rob a stranger who’s carrying the first map that leads to the water fall. The map’s called High Stakes I think. The stranger was actually near the cliff above the left side of the waterfall

You need to own the very first treasure map before going there. Otherwise, it's like you are asking the character to look for smth, but the character doesn't even know smth may exist there

Even though you lose your money as Arthur if you complete the epilogue you get around 20 grand
