Germany is a beautiful country. It will get easier with time. In April, the weather can be very unstable. It's kind of the month between winter and summer and you often get the best or worst of both. Düsseldorf has a large Japanese community, I think you will quickly make friends there. Most Germans also speak good English and are happy to help, you just have to dare to approach them. Moving to another country is always difficult, especially if you're from the other side of the planet. I wish you the best of luck and a lot of fun in Germany. Greetings from Northern Germany!
