To me this seems to be somewhere between earlier Scandal, and Band Maid. I think there is enough to attract fans of both bands, and yet they are creating their own identity. Definitely a band to keep an eye on!
Love both videos from this band so far. Nice upcoming band. They gained popularity pretty quick. And it's not without a reason. It's catchy and the songs are prety good structured. They gonna release their first EP Exclamation in a few weeks. .Also check out heir other song Get Over.
It's coold that you have found the time for this new band. This is a relaxed and kind of poppy song compared to their first one, GET OVER. I'd also recommend the amazing new HAGANE music video, named Tenga Goken (天下五剣).

Very new and promising band with two MVs that have done well very quickly. The only reason I haven't mentioned them is because everyone else is hyping them, especially the Band-Maid fanbase. Their bassist made the final audition with Lovebites.
I've been told the same by Howard, even though I honestly didn't make a Band-Maid connection while listening. But more on that in the soon to come Ears to the East episode 😜👍
@@react-o-matI agree that Trident are a closer comparison, mainly because of the singer's voice. So far Neki seem to be hard rock with pop-punk and metal elements, they've kept their solos short, their bassist stands out a lot, and they like to switch languages in the middle of lines, so that's more in common with (early) Band-Maid than most new bands who are compared to them. But yeah, most of those things are also true of Trident, and it's probably mainly because a lot of people discovered Neki through their short of Choose Me live.
@@homegnome2429 That and they also played Shibuya Eggman at least a couple of times, which is where Band-Maid basically started their journey. I actually do hear some Band-Maid influences in the start of this track (newer Band-Maid) and the chorus (early Band-Maid). But I don't know if I would have said the same thing if I didn't know about the covers. I am pretty sure I would have said the same thing about the heavier part, I think that opening riff sounds like a Band-Maid riff. Also, they do sound more like Band-Maid than the other newer band that started out doing Band-Maid covers (Paleneo). The funny thing is that I have seen Scandal fans comment that they like they track as well, so they might be able to bridge the gap there is between both fanbases (there is obviously overlap, but I for one don't really enjoy most Scandal I have heard).

I think it’s more to do with the fact they’ve done some Band Maid covers to help get established.
