I have never seen a demonstration for how, where and why you should use the eye of thr Peacock feathers, a really clear and helpful demonstration for tying this beautiful soft-hackle fly, thank you, MSG Leum
Thank you so much for your kind comment I have to admit I have not seen similar video either. Except few more that i made. Look for skeletor nymph, skeletor parachute and fire ant. Best Vladimir
Thank you for sharing, hope you are pleased that there are probably MANY that will copy your design. (Self included) I am starting tenkara fishing and this would make an excellent kenbara fly, that fly is absolutely beautiful. Loads of flash should shine off of it. I - C.Alan Adair, Oregon outback.
@@ClydeAdair-f7f thank you for the compliment. Some say that copying someone is a compliment and i agree. I can see this fly with legs facing forward. That would look and move great. Enjoy tenkara. Some may argue its not FF but i certainly can see joy in minimalist approach 🍻🍻🍻
Nice one Vladimir!! Can you provide the hook reference? To my "eye" looks like TMC3769, not sure. Always looking for nice shape/weight for traditional North Country Spiders. Thanks.
I was lucky enough to buy all capes i have (3 for dry and 2 for wet flies) from trustworthy people. But i dont think you can go wrong with whiting You may get a bit off color but quality is amazing
Excellent tying skills and video quality is beyond anything I've seen on UA-cam!
Thank you a lot for such kind comment. Glad you enjoyed it 🍻

Beautiful fly. Love the attention to details.
@@CBL138 thank you so much. I enjoy going into details. Its like meditation for me
Way back in the day they were my go to for dry flies but the synthetic quills today so much better durable
I never tried synthetic. Its just something i dont like without real reason. But i will probably at least give them a try
Very delicate and elegant fly. Nice detailed work and explanation why and how to use the techniques and materials. Thank you Vladimir.

Thank you for explaining the details of how you select the eye feather and setting the long barbs to show more. Just fantastic.
Glad you like it. Thanks for your kind comment. 😀🍻
Unique touch and detail
Its not my idea, but i loved the fly so much i had to copy it. Check out onceandaway on Instagram
Great looking fly, and a really good save . Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much for watching. I will have to be careful about these mustad hooks.they cut thread quite often.
Super interesting fly.
Thanks 🙏🙏
Fantastic!
Thank you so much 🍻😀
Excellent tying, as well as a really good detailed camera work!
Thank you so much. I am trying to improve videos as much as I can. 🍻
Nice.. Gone to test the eye on my grayling flies..
Thanks. I am sure they will love it.
I must try and replicate it as the colour is superb. This should attract a few hens into the net! Regards.
Looking forward to hearing from you 🍻
I really like this fly, thanks!!
Thanks for watching
Thanks

Nice looking.
Thank you 🍻
I’m going to try it this weekend
Thank you. Looking forward to hearing how it was 🍻🍻
i'd like to see how that works out.
I am sure it will catch. Hope i will give it a try soon
Nice beard Dude. I watch lots of your videos and really like them.
Thank you so much. 🍻for both, beard and videos 😀😀
Nice one Vladimir!! Can you provide the hook reference? To my "eye" looks like TMC3769, not sure. Always looking for nice shape/weight for traditional North Country Spiders. Thanks.
Thank you so much. Unfortunately no idea about the hook. Its some mustad i got in bulk. But tiemco is probably my favorite brand.
Do you inspect your capes before buying or play the online order lottery? That’s a lovely fly and kudos for the save without superglue

Is this the part of the peacock that you use for the skeletor fly?
Exactly that one. 🍻
Nice
Thanks 🍻
Very nice meticulous fly. I use peacock eyes a lot. They make beautiful iridescent bodies as you know! :-) Are you in Europe again now?
Thank you very much. Amazing bodies for sure. And decently durable too. I am not in Europe. Back to China. 😀
liked!
Now its time to catch some tilapia with it 😂😂
Thanks so much 🍻🍻
