The Teen Titans are a superhero team appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics, frequently in eponymous monthly series. As the group's name indicates, the members are teenage superheroes, many of whom have acted as sidekicks to DC's premier superheroes in the Justice League. The original team later becomes known as the Titans when the members age out of their teenage years, while the Teen Titans name is continued by subsequent generations of young heroes. First appearing in 1964 in The Brave and the Bold #54, the team was formed by Kid Flash (Wally West), Robin (Dick Grayson), and Aqualad (Garth) before adopting the name Teen Titans in issue 60 with the addition of Wonder Girl (Donna Troy) to their ranks.
Over the decades, DC has cancelled and relaunched Teen Titans many times, and a variety of characters have been featured heroes in its pages. Significant early additions to the initial quartet of Titans were Speedy (Roy Harper), Aquagirl (Tula), Bumblebee (Karen Beecher), Hawk (Hank Hall), Dove (Don Hall), Harlequin (Duela Dent), and three non-costumed heroes: boxer Mal Duncan, psychic Lilith, and caveman Gnarrk. The series would not become a genuine hit until its 1980s revival as The New Teen Titans under writer Marv Wolfman and artist George Pérez.[2][3] This run depicted the original Titans now as young adults and introduced new characters Cyborg (Victor Stone), Starfire (Koriand'r), and Raven (Rachel Roth), as well as the former Doom Patrol member Beast Boy (Garfield Logan) under his new alias of Changeling, who would all become enduring fan favorites. A high point for the series both critically and commercially was its "The Judas Contract" storyline, where the Teen Titans are betrayed by their teammate Terra (Tara Markov).
The 1990s featured a Teen Titans team composed entirely of new members before the previous members returned in the series Titans, which ran from the late 1990s to the early 2000s. Subsequent stories in the 2000s introduced a radically different Teen Titans team made up of newer DC Comics sidekicks such as Robin III (Tim Drake), Wonder Girl II (Cassie Sandsmark), and Impulse / Kid Flash II (Bart Allen), as well as Superboy (Kon-El), some of who had previously featured in the similar title Young Justice. Later prominent additions from this era included Miss Martian (M'gann M'orzz), Ravager (Rose Wilson), Supergirl (Kara Zor-El), Kid Devil, and Blue Beetle III (Jaime Reyes). Concurrently, DC also published Titans, which featured some of the original and 1980s members now as adults, led by Dick Grayson in his adult persona of Nightwing. DC's The New 52 reboot in 2011 later brought new characters to the founding roster, including Solstice (Kiran Singh), Bunker (Miguel Jose Barragan), and Skitter (Celine Patterson), although this volume proved commercially and critically disappointing for DC. In 2016, DC used the Titans Hunt and DC Rebirth storylines to re-establish the group's original founding members and history, reuniting these classic heroes as the Titans, while introducing a new generation of Teen Titans led by Robin V (Damian Wayne) with Aqualad II (Jackson Hyde) and Kid Flash III (Wallace West) as the team's latest members alongside team mainstays Starfire, Raven and Beast Boy.
The Teen Titans have been adapted to other media numerous times, such as a self-titled animated series, Teen Titans Go!, and Titans. Within DC Comics, the Teen Titans have been an influential group of characters taking prominent roles in all of the publisher's major company-wide crossover stories. Many villains who face the Titans have since taken on a larger role within the publisher's fictional universe, such as the assassin Deathstroke, the demon Trigon, and the evil organization H.I.V.E. - Розваги

“Nightwing; the undisputed GOAT of the DC universe.” I liked that very much. First time I saw him as a kid, it was in Lego Batman where he was the Batman clone but had unique animations which drew me to him. Then I learned that he was the mentor of Young Justice and the leader of the Teen Titans, beat Batman 1v1 in the fairest fight possible and remains a positive light for everyone around him even in the super melodramatic bat family. He really is one of the golden children in the DC universe that embodies some of the best humanity can be. Just like Bruce, he pushes his body to the absolute limit and redefines peak human, is totally selfless and want to give back to the world that gave him life, but unlike Bruce, he’s not afraid to be vulnerable and find trust in others. He lets himself find happiness
My first time seeing him was in the Teen Titans episode where Starfire goes to the future. I thought the idea of a grown up Robin was crazy so I did a deep dive and man was I not disappointed at all! Blue and Black is still my favorite color scheme to this day!
I'm a lil' older but I remember when I was a kid, an older buddy of mine who collected comics told me that Dick Grayson wasnt Robin anymore. Then he showed me the issue where he became Nightwing, with the original disco suit. I was so fascinated that they could do something like that with comic characters because to me Robin was just "Robin" and always would be.
He's been my favorite character ever since.
Beast boy turned in starro the conquerer recently. That has to be his peak.
Judging how there is more powerful animals/aliens than Starro, I’m pretty sure this is just the beginning of what Beast Boy will be able to become!

@@nathanchenery1075 Parallax, demons like trigon (he can turn into demons but with him becoming starro the door opens up for him to become specific demons possibly), Kryptonian animals, kaijus (godzilla recently had that event which doesn’t mean he can turn into Godzilla but probably other giant monsters), and if they take the Animal Man route with Beast Boy’s powers being connected to the red (which they’ve already mentioned) then that leaves the door open for him to turn into literally any species that isn’t human.

Was about to say. Nobody could take their enemy alone. They were about to be defeated and overwhelmed until Beastboy finally transformed into Starro. Although he couldn't take full control, his starfishes even transformed heroes into beasts.
I just want Nightwing to get a run as a Lantern. The Blue Lantern would go well with his design.

Damn. Nightwing would be the ultimate superhero.
Nightwing was actually a canonical green lantern candidate! It was in an action comics run where Hal is 'dead' and the ring is looking at hosts. The ring pulls Dick and Clark and some randos (based on real people) into a lineup. I think green lantern fits him better than blue, to do what he does, to choose kindness and justice over spite and vengeance? His will power is godlike. Anyways, just my two cents :)

Beast boy was much more powerful in the 80's story arc that had him realize the only limitations on what he could become was his imagination. He was able to become creatures bigger than planets.

I remember when he had the Raven seed in him and it became easier for him to become montsterous creatures, and he had to struggle to be regular animals.

Honestly I'd love to see Nightwing getting upgrades in the future. Powers like the ones that Black Lightning/Static use would fit him so much imo, even if temporarily or in an alternate universe at the very least (if it's permanent, I may celebrate tbh. But this is just my personal opinion ofc).

@@DirectorCord-ry3nq An obsession or fixation maybe, but it’s an agreeable one. Those powers would suit him for sure! I will say that I feel Kryptonian powers are at least slightly fitting, since his name is of Kryptonian origin and he has similar hopeful traits to Superman. On a similar note, I personally believe Lex Luthor should get some kind of super power. The whole thing with him is that he’s jealous Clark has powers, but there’s also the fact that there are about a dozen ways he could probably give himself powers, so putting it simply, why doesn’t he? Regardless, 100% agree, Nightwing with electrokinesis would be awesome! Maybe having him siphon it into his ecrima.

Tim, Cassie, Bart, Conner and all the folks who joined after before the New 52 is when I fell in love with Titans comics (got into them at the worst timing possible though because….well, New 52). But I super respect The New Teen Titans era.
Geoff johns run is so good on t t. When red hood busted into the titans tower and Tim drake and him fought. Then made it down to the crypts and found they had made no grave or monument for him so he cuts his hand and puts Todd was here was sad. Or when Tim tells batman "I don't want to be like you, plz save my dad" man that hit hard

I just discovered your channel: It seems as if they are finally granting Donna some respect. I never understood, how her feats were more impressive from the 80's comics. I get no-one can be stronger than Kal or Diana or better Martial artist than Batman. But, Marvel to a degree is able to create characters that are powerful in their own way. Classic Rogue was not the strongest, but they way she was drawn and written gave her substance. Show Donna running next to Wally in a fun race or something. Or Navigating the Oceans with Tempest. With Beast Boy he technically could be as powerful as a Kryptonian. He has taken on Alien form before. So let us say if he took on the form of the equivalent of a grizzly bear from Krypton then he for a brief moment would be close to Kara and kal. Of course his body couldn't take the Solar absorption, but for a moment he could do it. Animal man took on the form of some bug that can exist on the edge of an event horizon - what in the world is that. Then Gar should be able to turn into a Kryptonian wasp. Kory also, should be able to change the frequency of her star bolts to Red Sun and give kara and Kal a run - briefly.

With the others, they at least had story arcs or development that got them to the strongest they can become. With Nightwing he just brings up the one time he was given the strongest powers in DC..

I wonder if Super Nightwing's colors are supposed to be a reference to Invincible. I remember first hearing about Mark Grayson in some youtube vid I had on in the background years before the show made him well known and I thought he was some alt universe Nightwing or something cause of their last names.
Nightwing's original color scheme was black, blue, and yellow. Mark GRAYSON is an homage to Dick GRAYSON; you have it backwards.

@@DirectorCord-ry3nq Same, reading a run about him handling bigger threats to Blüdhaven like back in early Rebirth but he gained Electrokinesis somehow would be amazing, I'd buy every issue without wondering.
Perhaps the story could be about a family with the ability to manipulate Electricity and thunder coming and trying to gain power in Blüdhaven but he knows about the ways they've gotten it so fast and has to expose them. He loses to the Patriarch and Matriarch but they underestimate him and gives him mercy to frame him for crimes, however, the eldest child like himself or maybe a cousin or part, refuses to be an ancessory to their crimes so he teams up with him. Nightwing ofc doesn't have powers but he builds himself a suit that can protect him against and absorb their powers for him to use as his own. I love suits that makes protagonists a direct equalizer to their antagonist. In this case, he'd still have use his wit and skill to overcome them but he won't get one-shotted anymore as long as he has it.
@@Artryom Honestly, I prefer it being a metahuman power more than suit since the former is more powerful and natural. I am not a fan of mecha stuff, plus it will hinder his speed kinda.

@@Spider-Fan006 Trust me. Being peak human not only creates more inconsistencies and "Plot Armor" moments. But it is really weak compared to basically Planet Busters or more.
Like insanely weak. Not generally, but compared to most super powered beings. They are. Most of them could move at FTL speeds. A peak human could never logically reach that level of speed without powers, not even 0.1% of that level.
I am saying it could even be temporary at least. It is still better than nothing.

The Unkindness is the true omnipotent being in entire DC and is rivaled by none which makes her live up to her title as you guessed it, "The Literal End"!! The Unkindness is beyond-god tier powerful, she's Tier-0 level powerful. End-all level powerful in other words without it ever rebooting/restarting again. If current Raven decided to do what her alternate version of herself did, DC is doomed and henceforth done for, like there's no coming back from that point onwards!

Well let's look at beast boy and the red if beast boy were to become the reds avatar he would scale high because he would be connected to every being in a sense, this connection would in theory out him around the collective consciousness which creates God's and such. Seeing Gar at the bottom is disappointing, but it is what it is. I also thought the Future State comics where a bit of a downer. Not edgy like some “what if” stories in DC, but toeing the line.
There needs to be a character in the bottom tbh. He is also kinda the youngest and most inexperienced Titan in combat. So it makes sense.
It is much better than Nightwing being last imo (I think he should have been one of the strongest members. Like in this video where is three. In base though, he is the weakest and it is not close sadly since having no powers is just lame)
