From my experience with Honda City cvt I can tell that the way to drive a cvt should be gentle progressive manner, press and release type . Try to keep the rpm around 2000 and it will reward with good mileage and silent engine noise. If accelerated hard it will make noise as the rpm will rise but speed will take few seconds to catch up. But those who like bullet kind of sporty note may not mind.

Bhai don't mind but I believe you don't have enough experience in Driving Dynamics
1.Rubber band effect only comes in AMT. CVT is there to resolve that issue.
2. You can add arm rest in accessories from the showroom
