Looked like another fun game, the dwarfs dice were on fire.
Couple of minor things to point out for future reference you only get raking fire from broadsides, the dwarf thunderer only suffers -1 for firing indirect (making it awesome with veteran crew) and in boarding actions if you bring a ship to its SP its crew is slain but the ship is not actually destroyed, it stays on the board in the same way as a surrendered ship (until it suffers one more damage from shooting or if its on fire)
One big thing, medium ships and bigger cant move within 2" of an island. If they do they have to take a skill test, failure results in the ship becoming grounded while success allows them to turn away enough for forward movement to keep them out of the 2" but then their activation is over for that turn.

Dwarf engines in this mission seem so insanely good. You can just hug those islands all day long
Yeah that's what I was thinking. Any fleet with engines or oars will find this mission alot easier.
Starting to get into all things Mantic and love these Armada games. What effect paint/material did you use for the waves on the bases?

I used AK interactive Atlantic Blue Gel for the water and AK interactive Foam for the wave crests

Great battle, I did not change my mind about the gur panther, is underpriced and 12 points MUST be a mistake, however it wasn't lucky at this time, also I did not understand the final scor. greets.
Yeah me too it's a great ship for the points. Didn't help them here though 😂
So the fleets score based on the VPs they get off the island. If a boat is sunk it looses it's VPS. Only exception is boarding - if you capture the ship you transfer over the VPs to your attacking ship
at 25:55 the thunderer has accurate ordnance special rule so only suffers -1 to shoot indirect weapons rather than -2 so that coupled with your vet crew means you basically shoot flats with that gun.

That Abess that killed the dwarf ship in a boarding action, scenario rule states you gain the dwarf VPs when the ship is destroyed
Yeah absolutely it went to 5vps after that which really made the end game close.
Good scenario with lots of potential for close games this one 🙂
