First of all, it’s been awhile since I’ve watched your content let alone anyone’s content, but as always I COMPLETELY agree with this, it’s just another way for people to get scammed. It’s unfortunate how desperate some people can be for rares, yes I feel bad for those who do get scammed but it was risky in the first place. Thank you for covering this topic! 💕💕
I am so glad you want over this topic. I got hacked by my best best friend. I used to be really rare, with forest and everything, but got hacked. That made me sad, so I took a break for about a year. After that year I want to play again because the game seemed pretty good. I played for about a month, a met someone who was really nice to me. We became best friends. I got a double tail, and of course, my “best friend” said she wanted to offer, and she scammed me, and unbuddied me. I haven’t played since a few years ago because of that. Also, I was on EBay, and saw someone selling items like mine. Such as a masterpiece that I made. I also found out that they were selling 4 forest gauntlets, which was the exact number of forest gauntlets I had. I went through the seller, and most of the items where every similar as the ones I had in my account. Especially the Masterpiece.
I'm glad to finally see this kind of video up. I have been telling people for years that selling items for real currency is wrong because 1. The person you are stealing from could be a child/minor who is too young to understand what scamming with real money is, 2. Will eventually cause Animal Jam to shut down (Where would they get their income from then if the game they are selling items from is gone?), 3. It makes them look bad. I've said it once i'll say it as much as I need to, scammers and hackers are by definition LAZY because they won't actually put in the work to get the item honestly. I also want to tell you that my brother who is an expert on computers says that 2 step verification actually doesn't protect anything. He told me that there is always a back door. I do not know what that means as I am not into tech like my brother I am into making food and reading books. So the only thing I suggest doing is make your animal appearances look unrare when your out in regular Animal Jam public and use the rare stuff in things like roleplays, fashion shows, ect. This is how I have been playing ever since the data breach happened. I am sorry if it seems like I am ranting it's just that with the way the world is right now it makes me sad that even the youth are being affected by global greed. Also I am not entirely sure if the backdoor thing is true but if it is now you know. Thanks again for the video! Good luck and stay safe!
Yea, selling items in animal jam is getting out of hand I saw something on wish that was like 5 dollars for galaxy wings! I am so glad you talked about this! Is it okay if I make fanart of you? ♥️ keep it up kijji!
It’s actually a little crazy how selling itself is dangerous, but people don’t really realize how dangerous the COMMUNITY for selling can be as well. Doxxing is a very common thing in the selling community I feel like. Anyone who has the ability to hack items can very easily have access to IP grabbers, or just plain know how to access an IP. I’ve seen doxxing over items and for things as simple as misunderstandings between one another. It’s 😬😬
It's really getting out of hand. And I'm serious-- In my instagram bio, it used to say I play animal Jam. But I kept getting SO many follow requests from animal jam item sellers, I had to take it out of my bio. I still get follow requests from these weirdos. It's super annoying.
IM GLAD U TALKED ANT THIS. The entire situation is really messed up, and needed to be talked about more. I’ve literally heard that some ppl sell animal jam ACCOUNTS on eBay, most likely accounts that never belongs to the seller
I honestly was gonna to turn to buying items, but i wont do it. The reason i considered it was because, when i thought i was quitting - and played for 2 years, before i quit i gave all my items away to random strangers…. Its so hard to get rare again brcause I decided to come back. Ive worked for my stuff for like 4 years just to throw it away because of a stupid decision i didnt think id change in the future…. But for the sake of the community i dont think ill be buying items. If it means that others are being hacked just for the items, its not worth it.
My friend used to buy items off of aj she told me that she spent like over 150$ on the game and animal jam banned her it’s disappointing she lost all that money. But I think it’s not good but it’s not bad. Bc some ppl want to be kinda rich but that’s a risk someone can take. And I think someone switched their account and yes that’s what they did made a new account and bought all that stuff.
I’m sure most of this video is very true! But about the hacking part, that is a debatable claim, I do have a lot of knowledge on this topic, i hope. But, the hacking part in my opinion is true and false, if you look at someone, aka, ‘Error Scams’ she has admitted to scamming ( not sure if hacking or not ) kids and then selling their items, but most sellers I do know about probably don’t do that, truthfully we all have opinions on the matter, especially because, yes, it’s bad, and I have done it before, but I think most sellers do work hard for the stuff, they might, too, be buying from other sellers to get the stuff aswell, ( maybe those sellers were hackers and the other seller didn’t know ) ( but this is just my opinion, no harsh feelings! :3 )
I’ve seen selling groups from the inside, I’ve had a friend go into a group themselves and- yeah. That entire group was hacking the items, and that’s just that one group. Nearly every group I’ve gone through and seen have obtained their items via hacking.
@@kijjikon I see, but unfortunately there is nothing we can do about it except report those who are doing that, not saying all sellers are okay, but the people whom are scamming/hacking are the ones who should definitely be reported.
I don't feel bad for people who come back from animal jam after a long break to see their items gone, sure it's a little sad, but I've also been inactive ALOT and I've taken huge breaks. Everytime I come back my items are still there and no one touched my account. Why? Because 1. I have a good password, not something like "abc123" or "animaljamrocks" 2. I have 2fa, people who don't turn on 2fa obviously are begging to be hacked, everyone knows animal jam has the worst security ever. 3. I changed my password after the breach, I didn't keep my password the same because I knew I was going to get hacked if I didn't. Also the breach was REALLY big news, there were articles about it and everything. If you didn't ever change your password or turn on 2fa, then it's your fault you got hacked. Also it's pretty weird how you talk about scammers in this video, legitimate sellers have nothing to do with scammers and often try to report scammers to prevent more people from getting scammed. Also, who cares if people sell? If no one is getting scammed it's not a bad thing. Just people making money. I get the hacking thing being morally wrong and all but some sellers sell items that are actually earned legitimately. This video has awful points and makes sellers out to be horrible people. To group scammers and sellers together like they're the same thing is literally disgusting. I'm sure you're a great person and no hate to you but this video is kind of bad man sorry.

@@Loomy_is_Confused Hm, interesting. I didn't know outside art would be classified as cross-trading. After I finish with the others one's I already submitted, I'll stop doing such thing.
Thank you for informing me.
I met you in claws and paws I'm lilyfroggy14!!!
Great video! Lot's of good points made :D
someone was giveaway a double tail but they bought it from eBay😐
So many sellers followed my instagram so i removed them all and like half of them are scammers its pathetic
I sometimes see this stuff on eBay and it's literally illegal
In aj I mean, not in the USA XD
THE SISYPHUS ROCK IM CRYING ITS SO TRUE
HEHEHE
Its messing up the rarity system in ajc too 😭😭😭
I hate when people rush to be first when something serious is happening
This reminds me of the hard work I did for sapphires and someone stole 149 from them I had none left 😢
i feel like i should teel someone because last night i got the message saying i had "scammed" when i don't even now how to scam, so i don't now what happened but i just think its strange
Kijjikon I'm not getting my sapphires today and I'm a member so can you tell whats going on if you don't know that's fine
Might be a glitch
It’s so wild to me how some people can trust a stranger to give them an item after they send them 230$ like bro… y’all are crazy
Wait that is a real thing!? It seams so easy to scam someone and take money away from people! Just why?!
Someone told me its considered digital piracy? is that not true?
I’ve only bought a few things for a different game but they were cheap and all of them were actually real, none were a scam and I’m glad they weren’t but please don’t do what I did, it’s still a bad idea
Oh yeah and i quit aj for a year and i got hacked and when i came back my stuff was gone including all of my pets and i didnt even have rare pets lol
Never considered buying my items back because I don't waste my money so im not gonna contribute to this
SOMEONE HACKED MY ACCOUNT AND I LOOSE ALL INTEMS !!! 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 THIS IS SO MEAN HELP MEEEE !!! I HAVE 0 PETS AND MY BEST INTEMS ARE AIRPLANE WINGS!!!!
I just saw you in AJ!
Thank you for reminding me. I forgot to turn on my 2fa

by way i not no they do it but the youtube channel is animal jam error i not no they sell for real money
1st! :3 pin?
also who would even buy things like this online it’s more than likely a scam 💀
Yah I've seen so many of people trying to do this and people say it's a scam
It makes me uncomfortable when people sell real out of game art for in-game sapphires
Why tho? It’s my favourite way to earn sapphires and it’s my honest hard work.
Skorm deserved to be banned from Julian2
Huh I never knew this was a thing
KIJJIKON THERE MORE BOTS NOW THERE HACKING AND SELLING PEOPLES ACCOUNTS AND MY FRIEND GOR EFFFECTED PLS MAKE A AWARNESSVID ON IT I THINK THEY ARE CALLED EAGLE AND HAWK BOTS

I tried to send you a buddy request because l ❤️🩹 u but it says your requests are off 😕
Dear people this is entirely off topic but I recently had an encounter with a strange "glitch" in the painting activity where if I use the painting bucket with a certain color there would be random blue particles floating in the color I noticed it happens with the default blue I’m concerned that if I make it into a masterpiece I will get banned does this happen to anyone else let me know if so 🤎 my username is jamberoni
I HAD THIS TOO!! I’ve never seen any one speak of this. I have sent an email to aj with image proof so I’m hoping that by telling aj about this glitch that they will fix it soon. If you use a brush and paint your screen fully black you can see these blue lighting thingys spiral around, if that helps any1 who hasn’t seen it.
I dont buy or sell but Im not gonna snitch from the people who do
