Love the video. However, definitely need a vehicle lift. Attempted this in my driveway and realized the sway bar is an absolute nightmare unless the vehicle is fully lifted. Rookie move. Welp. Going to the shop to get it done. :(
Hey Tyler, thanks for all the great videos. So helpful! I do need a little of your knowledge of that socket combination you mentioned in the video that keeps the internal shock shaft from turning when removing. Can you share the sizes of that special tool? I think it's on summit, but wanted to confirm the sizes.
You are correct and you can get it taken care of for free at the dealership here is a video that explains everything. Thanks for the view! ua-cam.com/video/r6k_WTgA-ns/v-deo.html
I had dealership do mine. Really easy they just ask if u want it replaced and 100% free. Might need to find strong springs due to this massive fab four winch bumper I have now lol
I was thinking that to but I'm not sure. It seems it has more bounce than it use to. With everything it added roughly 235lbs bumper and winch. Probably do both and that way I can add 37" tires lol
Nice video Tyler, I am going to be installing some Gieser springs tomorrow using your videos. Problem is I can’t find any shops with a wall mounted spring compressor! Do you know if you can reset ride height using Alfaobd?
Thanks for all those TRX videos Tyler. I am confused with my TRX and I was wondering if you know what to do here: My suspension doesn't show any differences in driving modes. It also feels erratic going over rough road as it comes out of bumps unevenly. What do you think?
It has been trouble free for me. It really does give you a nice little bump in power, I can always notice the loss of power when I drive a stock TRX now. Thanks for the view!
If you are using a strut machine to compress the spring you probably won't need to remove the shock top mount to get the collars installed. Thanks for the view!
anyone ever figure out another app or tuner that can do a ride height calibration? dealer is telling me weeks before they can get me in to hit a simple button and do it.
If only we could clone Tyler and have him at every ram dealership
I like to think I truly treat each customer car like it is my own. I really try to take the time and do things correctly. Thanks for the view!
Things got a little more complicated since the 70's when I installed new king pins in my Ford E300. Great instructional!
Lots of parts and sensors now! Thanks again!
Another great video! You do an amazing job on every one
Thank you!

Hey Tyler, thanks for sharing another great tutorial, you are an excellent educator!!! 👍👍
Thanks that means a lot!
AARON. well said.
I wana see him in every dealer
I do a lot of pot stirring at work lol but I'd like to think I get stuff done correctly at least! Thanks for the view!

The nut is a 20mm and the stud is a 10mm, I'm trying to find a aftermarket solution for that tool. Thanks for the view!
Yes!! Early Tyler Videos!!
Thanks man!
Professional videos. Great content!
Glad you like them!
I knew I wasn't crazy I always thought was leaning to the left!

I like that special socket tool for the end of the shock. I bet it made you some money since you bought it.
After having a fox racing shock explode in my face, I use the tool now lol I very literally painted the shop wall and myself in shock oil
Tyler, great video. Any chance you can provide a link to the shock tool you used? Thanks!
Awesome video man👍👍
Glad you enjoyed, Thanks for the view!
Quick question, is this serious? will you stop? Ram trx 2023

Or a leveling kit to help lol Thanks for the view!

You are one smooth mechanic. Keep up the good video's. Love to watch you work.
Thanks that means a lot!
10k subs coming in! I can see it!
I hope so!
Nice video Tyler, I am going to be installing some Gieser springs tomorrow using your videos. Problem is I can’t find any shops with a wall mounted spring compressor! Do you know if you can reset ride height using Alfaobd?
I think someone has said that alfa obd has the option to reset it but I have not personally tried. Thanks for the view!
I like the shock disassembly/removal socket you have what are the sizes?
I think the nut is a 21 and the center shaft is a 10mm but it has been a minute since I have had a TRX apart. Thanks for the view!
Thanks for all those TRX videos Tyler.
I am confused with my TRX and I was wondering if you know what to do here:
My suspension doesn't show any differences in driving modes.
It also feels erratic going over rough road as it comes out of bumps unevenly.
What do you think?
It might need the ride height sensors recalibrated at the dealership, does it have any messages on the dash?
@TylerPotter nothing on the dash, and I reset ride height via alfaobd
Whats your thoughts on the crank pulley. Notice any performance improvements?
It has been trouble free for me. It really does give you a nice little bump in power, I can always notice the loss of power when I drive a stock TRX now. Thanks for the view!
Do you have a link for the socket you have on video ?
No it is a Mopar tool, but the nut is a 20mm and the stud is a 10mm.
Do you have a link or a name for the shock socket?
And what size is it?
Actually, I don't need it to install a perch collar, right? I don't need to remove the spring.
If you are using a strut machine to compress the spring you probably won't need to remove the shock top mount to get the collars installed. Thanks for the view!
anyone ever figure out another app or tuner that can do a ride height calibration? dealer is telling me weeks before they can get me in to hit a simple button and do it.
I'm not sure of one but hopefully someone will chime in. Thanks for the view!
Any update on the air intake temps?
I talked with him just the other day and he is reporting 10° to 15゚ higher intake temperatures vs the stock intake at similar outside temperatures.
