Whenever Groff does these slow quiet songs, he invariably brings tears of delighted joy. He's the first singer in my life to consistently have that effect, and I'm 72. It doesn't hurt to know he's also the most dearly sweet man personally. What a big heart!
Lovely. The song of course is one that Richard Rodgers wrote (both music and lyrics) for the movie of The Sound of Music; here it's framed by a long intro and short postlude referencing Irving Berlin's I Got Lost in his Arms, a great Groff favorite.

It‘s always funny and cool to see people finding him through Mindhunter. I loved that show. It was amazing. But originally I got to know Jonathan through his musical carrer and through Lin Manuel Miranda which is why it‘s so normal to me to hear him sing😜
