- In this episode of the Raudi Metro Im fitting an MGF clutch pedal to the Metro pedal box with an OBP clutch master cylinder.

Early (pre Verto) A series Metro used a hyd clutch. I have a GTM Libra which uses a modified K series Metro pedal box with an MGF master cyl.
Good to see you sharing your humour 👍🏻😊
Yeah a spacer under the master cylinder should help line up the pedals, it would also help strengthen the mounting plate because it looks a little too thin and I think it may rip over time. VW's and Audi's have this trouble with the clutch master cylinder bending and ripping the bulkhead.
Yes, I definitely had that thought too. Although it's been fine for the brake master cylinder which has more force exerted on it for longer.
@@VisionAutoGarage yes that is true, but the force applied to the brake master cylinder is spread over a larger area on the plate, whereas the clutch master cylinder is focused on a much smaller area. Plus the clutch master cylinder has maximum force applied every time the pedal is depressed, whereas the brake master cylinder only has light use, until an emergency stop is required.
@@ProjectSupercar either way, it's going to be reinforced with the spacer, better safe than no clutch on a hot lap :P
@@VisionAutoGarage You got that right buddy, lol. :)
Are you going cleaning engine and bay.
What happened to the metro?

Seems like you made s lot of hard work for yourself there. You could of just used a mgf clutch master and welded a simple bracket onto the clutch pedal to suit. Half hour job
Yep, it wasnt really hard work and only took an hour or so in real time. But you are right, that would have been quicker and I may end up doing so.
Honestly not to be negative but it would of been much easier. I can take you pics of mine if needed. It literally has a extra bit of 3mm slightly bent at an angle welded onto top of pedal and it's perfect. No need for a return spring either.
You only need to drill out the centre hole and then 1 bolting hole because 1 of the original is used
It might to look like we copied your OBP pedalbox, but we bought it just before this weekend, promise! :)
+PedalBox 😂 its ok, i bought that one two years ago for the v6 midget.
@@VisionAutoGarage Ahh, I do like the billet pedals, very nearly went for those but chose a Victory in the end.
The music spoils it for me i have to mute it
