Beautiful recitation. My father used to put this on his car FULL volume when he used to come pick me up from school. I used to get soooo embarrased but now I love it and will do the same when I go pick my own kids up from school lol. Allah hu akbar. Peace to all.

No one Can be compared to Abdul Basit.... his Breath is fantastic. his voice is incredible... way of his recitation cannot be compared to any other qaris.... most of the qaris try to imitate him... but no one couldn't as him....
The rewards of glorifying, praising, declaring Allah's unity and His greatness are among the fundamental concepts of Islam. We should praise Allah whenever we hear something good, to remind ourselves that everything good comes from Allah.
Like brother sajeddd said, you prove to us these people can't praise Allah when the Qari breaks in his recitation. It is highly recommended in islam when you hear or see something beautiful you praise and gloryfy ALLAH, because glory is only for ALLAH.
...Sheikh Tablawi, without a doubt!! ...seriously...when sheikh gets going on those 40 second plus recitations on one single breath while still articulating up and down in pitch and all the while utilizing other dynamics is going to give someone a religious experience just from listening to the sheikh...I know that I personally have experienced it from listening to Tablawi and the style he uses... About 20 years ago, I had a sheikh Abdul Basit recording where he was using a reverb effect on his mic signal to get that echo-effect and spacey effect...it was an awesome recording...I used to blast that on my car audio system back then while everyone else was bumping other stuff on their ststems... I miss that tape...but Tablawi beats out Basit, in my estimation...

They are not praising Allah for each other, they utter the words individually for themselves. They have not gathered for dhikr session or something, it just so happens the power of the Qur'an enlightens them. JAzak Allah Khayr, hope you dnt take this in a wrong way my brother :-)

Basit is so wonderful in his recitation, I used his tapes to learn quranic recitation along with Qari Al Husary
