  • Despite the "Heritage" tag on our dressier boot options, you don't have to get a dress leather! They can be made with our durable (and still beautiful) work leathers, like our 64 Black, 64 Tan, 64 Brown and our Max Support leather options.
This gives you one of the most versatile boots we offer, whether your showing off in town, doing work around the house or spontaneously need the durability and protection only afforded by thick leather, we've got you covered!

I guess this is TAN in 64. All of us boot collectors (addicts) watch EVERYONE of these boot videos. Nicks is THE DEALER of the drug. It is what it IS. Keep them coming and we keep ordering.

*Yes, that's what the video description says. It's a cool leather 😊! Did you order a pair in tan 64 yet?*

I am more of a sandals wearer myself, but would love to get a pair of your boots someday they look fantastic.

As much as I wear dress boots and how well those are built they would take 25 years to break in! Love my builder pros and cant wait to get my nd3 dress boots. Keep up the good work Nicks boots.

Love these. The way this leather ages, maybe the best comparison is a Boondocker. I'd wear these in a heartbeat. Would easily be an everyday/casual boot.

This is not a dress boot. Maybe it is a dress boot for people who use builderpros. Leather & construction is solid as usual from Nicks but dress boots mean, iMO,a sleeker last, finer finishing and different laces - waxed cotton perhaps. If you want tough boots with dress boot like finishing, Viberg is the default option it seems. Maybe there are others...

Agreed. It might be "dressy" for someone who doesn't own a suit (maybe owns a blazer) but for everyone else, this is a work boot...
A beautiful work boot, but a work boot none the less.

    No dress boot detected
but seriously, if you use black calfskin and a leather sole and trim the boot lip down to 1 stitch instead of a pair; then it might be a dress boot and nice

*Video description says 64 tan. It's not the brown or black. So it is the tan 😊!*

What is the main reason for the gloves when sewing?

Probably so it won’t leave skin oil on the leather

As someone who works in an industrial setting sometimes during winter I do not have any grip from my skin due to dehydration and need gloves myself.
