Very good ... the amazing thing is how he manages to take control of the car and co curves very accurately! Thing that is not easy and is not for everyone. Congratulations for the video!
In this vid he seems so much nicer than in the studio interview. Hes also funny. Damn, Jeremy, you could give him some space to show us this personality.
Shame for F1 next season, I love Webber, the only "propper bloke"! Also would still love to see Alonso try this. I'm a Lewis fan but damn as hard as it is to admit you can't argue with Alonso's talent!
Prost is not Prost without Senna, and Senna is not Senna without Prost :) I was a Prost fan back then, but I respect Senna more than any driver of today.
i think he was just trying to imitate lewis, joking around in the car and do a good lap. he did a good lap but he was always focused on the track, whereas lewis was truly joking around
It is a slight disadvantage HOWEVER, Mark is usuall7 71kg when he is in race trim and this is very lean. Sebastian and many drivers are high 60's in kg. Mark has to be so lean for that reason, his height. Mark also has a slightly higher center of gravity.
Well if you actually had ever watched the show you'd know that they've had 2 replacement cars since. This is only used on that - maybe - one time a year they get a f1 driver on the show.
i know that, so no offence taken by calling me idiot. The Liana is as old as the show itself, i honestly think they should just move on despite only having so little F1 drivers
I'm not a Red Bull F1 fan, but that's not fair to team Red Bull... i should say, im not a Vettel fan, it would be interesting to see how Vettel got on without such a good team mate
"don't...scrub any speed...through these fast ones" "nail this first sector...going purple in heya...purple sectors come on...noice noice i'll take thtat." :D :D lol
I'd say that his car getting electronic failures every couple of races for years is a bit beyond ones self-destruct abilities. And it's no secret that MW has been getting a 2nd driver level car with seb running the latest an greatest gizmos long before MW gets them. Seb has had a very "soft" career. Even Schumacher had to prove him self in his early career with WC level and actual WC driver teamates. Seb will have to prove him self sooner or later in a new environment to be taken seriously
"Getting used to the G-Forces" hahaha
"Finding your way around a weapon like this". Great Aussie ambassador.
"nothing fell off, so happy with that" true driver. Mark Webber the true gentleman of racing..
"well...'getting used to the G-forces!"
lol :-)
I love hearing the drivers talk themselves through the courses. Especially seasoned pros. :D
That corner at 1:30 is amazing.
...and Mark thought so too at 2:40
Agreed...I watched it a few times. Nice balance...
Absolute limit of adhesion! There was nothing left in that corner without a doubt!
No more personalities left now he's gone.Love you Mark Webber.
+neilfrombrissie Buy his book "Aussie Grit" great reading.
The other personality left is Daniel Ricciardo another Aussie.
@@TeoGrehan And now we have Lando Norris, George Russell, Charles Leclerc, and the rest of the young guns
Kimi
@@TeoGrehan Ricciardo left mclaren ooof
3:40 "and the tyre stayed together, which was good" - Mark Webber. LOL!
The 6 dislikes are Seb, Horner, Marko and 3 mechanics that screw over Webber's car every GP weekend
Webber seems to such a friendly and good guy. Loved this episode, nice finish.
As much as some don't like Webber, at least he's straight up. Sad to see him go but bring on 2014.
Aussies are allways straight up
Great lap, great driver. The speed he carried into every corner, most notably the second to last, was amazing.
Congratulations, TopGear on getting 3,000,000 subscribe
Very good ... the amazing thing is how he manages to take control of the car and co curves very accurately! Thing that is not easy and is not for everyone. Congratulations for the video!
There must be two Stigs.. They must have a backup Stig if the Stig gets sick..
Some say he never gets sick, but when he does it powers him more to finish quicker.
Lillian Hirchmann so happy someone replied with a 'some say' :D
Refereed Mark and Pat Rafter playing in the same Touch team a few weeks ago. Very nice guy and not a bad player. Bloody fit!
He comes accross as being quite cocky or "full of himself", did this show much?
Tom Walker There's a fine line perhaps between Cocky and Confident.
Fair play, I suppose if you are a world class Formula 1 driver, known by most people, then you would be either of the two
Easily one of the cleanest laps around that track, man made it look like a morning commute.
In this vid he seems so much nicer than in the studio interview. Hes also funny. Damn, Jeremy, you could give him some space to show us this personality.
"Tyres stayed together" -HAH! Love it
Shame he's leaving F1, really wanted to see him win the championship. One of the few drivers who actually deserves it.
Congrats! 3 million + subscribers!
when dose this go on Netflix ???
He was born in Australia but he doesn't live there , he lives in my village
Webbers gestics after speaking with stig remind me of Walther Röhrl...maybe Röhrl is the ultimate Stig? :-)
Stig Blomqvist, the original Stig.
@theant9821 I don't even remember my comment from !eleven! years ago 😂
Topgear season 20 ended up with an australian. Well done lads!
Im pretty sure that the next season will start about November/December. Or early next year.
Please upload the review for the sesto elemento and the f12
Looked like a great lap. And I've just noticed a little camera on the back seat. Would be great to see the onboard view, #StigCam style...
I'm so glad he beat Vettel but still kinda pleased Lewis is on top. Hopes he gets a win after the summer break.
At least the tyres stayed together!! Haha
"don't scrub the speed on the fast ones" - bet he said that when overtaking Fernando up Eau Rouge
Love you Webber!
Shame for F1 next season, I love Webber, the only "propper bloke"! Also would still love to see Alonso try this. I'm a Lewis fan but damn as hard as it is to admit you can't argue with Alonso's talent!
inside scopp Webber Alonso, Le Man,,,,Bathurst 12 hr
safe to say that it's the best final bit ever, not by luck it was on his best lap.
The date is 12-10-2013 Mark Webber has pole position for the Japan race, go Webbie...
not saying that I'd rather see that, just what happened to all the videos with the three of them
Necra Monium It's an connection for the Hans device.
The tyres stayed together...which is more than can be said for the ones on his other car!
what happened to legit videos with the three of them though
The
Styk
is
back!
Is he flat changing or crashing it?
Prost is not Prost without Senna, and Senna is not Senna without Prost :)
I was a Prost fan back then, but I respect Senna more than any driver of today.
We want more episodes of series 20
how I wish that Ayrton Senna had made his lap with this car.
What kind of watch is he wearing?
Some say he's got twigs for arms
and others say that he's got leafs for hair.
All we know is, he's the Styk.
thanks
I Second the motion!
'Nothing fell off. i was happy with that.'
well you clearly misinterpreted my meaning, i was hoping top gear would just start a new F1 driver lap time list with the Astra
You can't see the top of the stigs head at 2:20
Bravo!!
Far out, 1:30 has to be one of the best second to last attempts.
yes it's amazing
who is the styk ??
i think he was just trying to imitate lewis, joking around in the car and do a good lap. he did a good lap but he was always focused on the track, whereas lewis was truly joking around
Bolt did a similar thing.
You're right :(
"Safety Devices" LOL
Why did the F1 drivers do unnecessary thing when they set a lap in TopGear Track?
It is a slight disadvantage HOWEVER, Mark is usuall7 71kg when he is in race trim and this is very lean. Sebastian and many drivers are high 60's in kg. Mark has to be so lean for that reason, his height. Mark also has a slightly higher center of gravity.
Damn it we need Alonso!
didnt happen
Stig for President in 2016! At least no speeches....
Well if you actually had ever watched the show you'd know that they've had 2 replacement cars since. This is only used on that - maybe - one time a year they get a f1 driver on the show.
sad to see him leave f1
Could've sworn Nick was Mark Webber at first.
Would you rather they show a Top Gear US?
Yeah Jake he is
what is that incessant beeping?
Yep we all love the sting ha,maybe it is a machine
He is 6'1'' Quite tall
Mark: Getting used to the G forces
You funny bloke, the world of Formula 1 will not be the same with you gone mate
Who is this Mr. Noone? (think you meant no one)
"Getting used to the G-Forces"
Ahahahahaha
awesome
nah sennas spirit will probably give him excessive ghost down force during his
lap.
How come Webber's car has reliability issues? Whilst Vettel runs smooth as a slot car.
i know that, so no offence taken by calling me idiot. The Liana is as old as the show itself, i honestly think they should just move on despite only having so little F1 drivers
Well I think he got a better start than in his RedBull...
Only in Forza My friend!
rFactor has top gear track too.
He was second fastest, 1:43:1, faster than Seb.
Never trust a teammate. Mr Webber has already declared his 'love' for Seb... and hang on, did I notice TWO Aussies this series??
Not bad for a number 2 driver.
I bet Vettel is already on the phone trying to get another drive to beat Hamilton and Webber.
I'm not a Red Bull F1 fan, but that's not fair to team Red Bull... i should say, im not a Vettel fan, it would be interesting to see how Vettel got on without such a good team mate
A nice car for the elderly people. My collegue has one...
Mark says Styk instead of Stig
It's a shame F1 these days is more about managing your tyres than actually racing :(
(he did have vettel's car)
One cool Aussie
"don't...scrub any speed...through these fast ones"
"nail this first sector...going purple in heya...purple sectors come on...noice noice i'll take thtat." :D :D lol
nice
why cant top gear just bravely move on, restart the F1 driver leaderboards and start using the Astra for F1 drivers as well?
haha he's getting used to the g forces. classic
noone told you to watch them
Cool.
indeed
I'd say that his car getting electronic failures every couple of races for years is a bit beyond ones self-destruct abilities. And it's no secret that MW has been getting a 2nd driver level car with seb running the latest an greatest gizmos long before MW gets them.

Seb is the Stig
LOL - How was his time?
