Last year 11th February, 2019 I lost my grandmother. When I got the call from my mom I was in hostel mess and just about to take lunch. I was schoked and immidietly book a flight ticket for my home. When I reached Delhi Airport I was very very hungry. I boarded my flight (indigo ) at 11.30 pm and very hungry and I don't have enough money for food. As usual flight attenders were selling food in flight. They asked me whether I will buy or not. I don't know why I told her that I don't have cash to pay. She somehow understood that I'm very hungry and offered me a meal. This was my experience. That's why I always take indigo. 😊😊

Similar experience I had @ Ha Noi Int'l Airport last year. I had transit thru DMK. The counter person asked show me 10000 Baht. I told I am in transit and I don't need any money. i told I will travel with my responsibility. Maximum counter staff don’t know rules properly.
Regarding Singapore immigration not done- I have flown in 20 airlines both domestic and international taken together, and internationally, say, more than 100 flights. At Singapore if the airline same, for transit at Singapore enroute to Hongkok immigration is not done, only security check, otherwise no government shall a miss essentials.

That is a very true line which you spoke, airline kabhi aapke saath acha nahi kr skti koi bnda ho wo kr skta hai. Airlines are purely business minded and they dont care a bit about their customers, specially the likes of indigo and goair in indian domestic circuit. Their policies are bad and they can loot their customers. One incident which happened to me was that indigo airlines delayed their first flight due to which I was not able to catch the second flight with the same PNR, same journey. They didnot refund, they mentally harassed us for 4-6 hours due to which we had to book a cab for the rest of our journey and it was a medical emergency. Later they even proved it is not in their policy. Just imagine how crap policies these airlines have which are not even checked.

Another friend of mine also mentioned something like that once, but I didn't quite understand how it works, and how to avoid the airport staff from forcing you to buy the currency. My friend said something about going to Singapore via bus from some other country, but the airport staff was trying to force him to buy a flight ticket for the same, saying bus journey wont be allowed.

New Istanbul airport has free WIFI. You just have to register with your mobile number or go to any kiosk to register with a passport. You will get free wifi. Though I have not tried the same at SAW.
