@@ricebner1821 I’d still buy the Mule. Kawasaki had one recall with these and ever since they fixed the recall three weeks ago we’ve sold completely out of our Mule Pro series. Folks still know and understand Kawasaki is a better quality more reliable brand.
Do you know if this has engine braking? The MULE looks great for work around our property, but we hunt in areas that have very long steep grades where I can't ride the brake for miles.
This may sound weird but I'm looking at this exact machine or a base Yamaha Wolverine X2... will be using around the house & some trail riding, whats your opinion? Thank you
That’s awesome! Both are excellent machines. So the X2 Wolverine has always been coined “the quietest side by side on the market”. And they ARE. Very quiet. Comfortable ride and very sporty. Very cramped however. I’m a little over 6 foot tall and long legged and I have to raise the steering wheel up every time just to get in lol. Also, Yamaha puts shoulder/elbow guards on the left and right side ROPS that just seem to be in the way. But the Wolverine is a Yamaha and boy are they smooth and reliable. Also can’t forget the 10 year warranty on the belt. I will say, these make a great match up, if I had to place these on the scale, the PROFXR leans more on the side of utility whereas the Wolverine leans more toward the sport . The Wolverine might also fit in your trailer or shed better than the PRO FXR.
I'm 6'2" and weigh 285. I am very cramped in the wolverine to the point I would never buy one. For a smaller man, they are a great machine. I am also looking at the Kawasaki Fxr 1000 and I fit in them just fine. Lots of room. Hope this helps.
Great Review!!! Is there enough engine heat shielding to keep the seats and cab from getting hot like many other UTVs? And would you happen to know what the dB noise level rating is on this machine?
Thank you so much!!! Yes there is, what I feel, would be sufficient heat shielding, plus the good thing is these machines aren’t really known for running as hot as others. Come to think of it I don’t recall anyone ever mentioning engine heat from a PRO series. You’re right though some other UTVs do get pretty hot. As far as decibels go, I’m not sure but if I have a way to find out, I’ll let you know!
@@danielspencer5023 awesome and I hope you love it! It's the first one I have ever owned and I couldn't be happier. It makes all my outside work easier!
Ya know, I would have to agree however I can honestly say this 2-cylinder isn't much louder really. I'd have to hold up a decibel reader sometime but I'm pretty confident they are close in decibel level.
Hey Ben I am looking to buy either this machine or a honda pioneer 1000-3 but not until Sept. I am from New York but have purchased a side by side from Pete's cycles in Baltimore. I would like to give you a shot when the time comes if you are interested.
Hey there that would be fantastic! I would love to meet you when the time comes. I know you will be very pleased with your visit to Twigg's. Just hit me up when you're ready to rock! Thank you so much.
Don't buy one of these unless you need a lawn ornament. I bought one at the first of the year got to use it 3 1/2 months and then it was recalled by kawasaki for over 2 months with no end in site. Kawasaki doesn't seem to care about their customers and I am very disappointed and upset with kawasaki.!
Very disappointed with Kawasaki I bought a Kawasaki meal pro MX and 2021 nothing but trouble with it hard starting fuel pump issues a lot of other issues . I also bought a 2023 Kawasaki meal pro FXR only own it for 11 months transmission issues and also had many other issues Make note I use it for my place of business I do not trail ride I also use it for spraying 50 to 60 hours a year and other chores around the property I do not abuse these things I do not take them in the mud I'm not hard on them Kawasaki just does not make a very good machine in warranty does not cover nothing very disappointed in Kawasaki I traded the FXR and I got a can am defender defender is such a wonderful machine . All I can say Kawasaki will screw you over very disappointed buyer beware
You're the very first person I've ever heard complain so bad about Kawasaki? Not saying you're lying but you're a rarity! Sorry to hear about your problems
I'm glad I read these comments! I WAS Planning to buy one this week! Gonna get a POLARIS INSTEAD. But they are VERY EXPENSIVE!!

@benattwiggcycles thank you so the Yamaha should be as reliable as the Mule

Does it hold back on hills or does it freewheel?
It holds back really well.

The horsepower bump is really nice but it just seems like a 2 vs 3 cylinder would cause for a louder engine right?

Can someone over 6 foot drive this unit without being cramped?
I'm 6'5 280 lbs and I feel I have plenty of room for the size of the machine. Obviously not as much as my truck but I don't feel cramped!
