Join Mark Pitchers as he attempts to pass episode 19 of The Challenge "Back To Basics". The public vote decided that he would have a budget to purchase everything that he needed for a 48hr session. With the Whelford Pool carp playing hard to get Mark would have to pull out all the stops to try and avoid the dreaded fail!

I am a junior angler who’s quite recently became obsessed with carp fishing . Due to the price of fishing tackle nowadays I don’t have the best of set ups but It doesn’t stop me from catching fish.

They dont make half the kit you need anyway so how would that work. Youll be suprised at what you can get second hand

That's great. My mate came Todber with me after I bagged a few new bits ...I blanked he caught 2, one was at 24lb and he had a rod and reel worth like 35quid all out.. 🤷♂️🤦🏻♂️

Did he say a budget of £800? Jesus all my kit comes to under £300 and i catch plenty of Carp , also the title says back to basics, how is this basic?

It's because they have to use all fox gear 'for promotional purposes' so it could have been less
@@thekidcarper3667 yeah I guessed that but ironically he passed the test with less so you could say don't waste your money on Fox gear ha ha.
Its basic because my kit over time second hand cost me about 2000 thats over time and im fishing with it reason why like my self hes gone and got kit to last not just one trip or 2 but for a few years before having to upgrade or replace i haven't loads of money far from it it takes me months to save up and again thats the bare minimum fishing is all about the price you won't to pay and go have a nice time with it do t matter on price you can't put a price on happiness as its why we all go cuz the thrill of the case and a fish in the net hope this has helped a bit if not comment and ill see if can explain better tight lines happy fishing
