My guess is GTA V Expanded & Enhanced was being made, it wouldn't meet launch date and would get more expensive, so they just dropped it mid-way and made a straight port of the PC version.

I completed this game for the first time literally yesterday. Played on PC, everything on max but no anti aliasing at all. I really think the graphics holds well till this day. Hope Rcokstar amazes us with GTA VI, but I'm not really counting on it anymore

I wasn't really following it, and i learned it was coming out like a week ago, had totally forgot about it, despite following the industry as a whole via UA-cam and Reddit. It wasn't heavily marketed at all, until very recently nobody had any info about it, maybe one or two screenshots and a short trailer.

I have mixed feelings I guess with this. One hand, its worth it for console players as its hell playing it in PS3 and PS4. On the other hand, if you’re a PC player, this is basically a 1% upgrade

Look at some of the graphic mods on pc, they’re able to make the game look better on worse hardware than the ps5

If you want more draw distance and lod scale on pc you can use "extreme draw distance mod". Next gen port really dissapoint.

Honestly it's not much of a bump up, but I do notice the improvements. At 8:06 I don't like how the vegetation and trees look on the PC version, but on PS5 it looks more detailed and the slight haze blends it in with the rest of the city better.
Is it worth $20? Imo no, but I have $15 worth of microsoft rewards points so I may get this for $5 lol. Good enough for 4k textures and 60fps.
I think that the configuration of the GTA on the pc is not at maximum, because on my pc everything at maximum looks something similar to that of ps5

Visuals aside, it seems to play/feel different. Physics, sense of speed and AI feel like they’ve been changed. I downloaded it on PS5 just to see how close it the experience was to PC but after spending a few hours playing, I think these next gen iterations play better.

Anti aliasing and fire/explosions look much better on ps5 compared to pc. As for the rest it looks the same, texture wise it doesnt seem like the improved them much which is weird because they mentioned they would look better

The graphics remain the same, only the fire texture and some particles have been updated, nothing impressive. The most impressive thing is someone who still wants to play this game

I have never played it, some hours on my xbox 360 borrowed copy from friend and only some hours on 1060 6gb with epic free copy. So now I can enjoy on my ps5 (I preffer playing with controller on the couch rather than my pc setup no brainer for me)

(BIG TIP) Either using your Arcade computer, or the LOWER LEVEL Nightclub computers....rent a new DJ for 10k (if it isn't 10k then u have to rent ALL 4 DJs for 100k each 1st). Then, exit the (overall) nightclub menu. Re-select the nightclub menu and KABLAMO, NO MORE PROMOTION MISSIONS lol. Repeat steps until its full, or just rent like 4 in a row if you're bottomed out. I check this often though with my supplies and keep it topped off. ENJOY!!!!$$$

@Gyanendra Singh that’s because ray tracing emulates the way light reflects and depending on the position of the sun changes the position of shadows.

@@IDeaDR1 they didn’t just remove them. It’s sunny where I am right now and when I look outside I do not see shadows from the power lines and the few shadows I do see are faint. Ray tracing mimics real light reflection. So again it depends on the sun and the position of the sun.

Honesty I never was able to enjoy GTAO because of how shitty and laggy everything was from PS3 to PS4 so I’ve never actually played it. Not only that but I haven’t played GTA 5 for more than 4 years, so in my eyes $10 for basically a 60FPS boost and a couple of detail improvements is great for people like me. I still feel bad for everyone else expecting and entire remastered game for $20 lol.
For that price and especially for the non-sale price, it SHOULD have been a complete remaster.

People are nostalgic about the old consoles but they forget how SHITTY they were. The PS4 ran games at 20-30 fps like no tommorow and if you've been long enough on pc or the ps5 you can't ever go back to that shit again.
@@100500daniel I was nostalgic since I used to mainly play this YEARS ago and eventually just stopped playing altogether, once I had my ps5 I couldn’t even play a minute of it because of how unresponsive it felt and already being used to the 60FPS. So this upgrade was a plus for me both in nostalgia and just in performance, these kids that have been playing consistently since it released are obviously not going to accept the minor changes and want a ENTIRELY new gta remastered game, I’m fine with this for now until GTA6. Like honestly, it’s been announced already, this will just keep us busy till then and if they so badly can’t play this anymore then why keep playing? Just wait for GTA 6 like everyone has been.

Was the ps5 on fidelity or performance?
PS5 should easily be able to run GTA V at 4K 90fps, 1080p 120fps, but Rockstar is just showing their incompetence and laziness. A PC from 2017 (1080 Ti / 8700K) can run this game at twice the performance that Rockstar have been able to squeeze out of the PS5, which is about as fast the PS5 actually is. But they've just done a lazy port withouit giving two fucks.

@@Stong1337 On the right settings, PS5 hardware itself should be capable of at least 75-90fps at native 4K. It's an old game. Runs at 1080p 100fps+ on modern low- to mid-end pc gpu's (like RTX 2060). Also, consoles are insanely optimized as each model has the same specs, so their capability is higher than normal. Rockstar has only been able to make it run at upscaled 4K 60fps (not stable), so they've clearly half-assed it, as it seems they're only utilizing maybe half of the PS5's power
I've heard if you look at the screen when upside down, you can see a message that says. COMING TO PS6.

Consoles: Looks better than base pc version and SOUNDS better too. At least so far in the areas i've been in. Most people don't use mods, i like to play the game as was intended to be played by the maker.
Gonna sit on the couch to have an all nighter, big LG 4K tv, a sound system from Triangle, and ofcourse, FRIENDS and family to join the fun!! GL with sitting in front of that small sh*tty pc screen lol. Yes yes i know you can connect your pc to your tv and all that blabla. But nobody does that apart from the few diehards. Too big of a hassle. Consoles are much more fun nowadays. (For now)

@@deyh5664 you dont really need a 40" screen thats sitting 2 feet away from you. 4K screens do exist on desktop but barely if any OLED screens. as for audio, the bigger the room, the more fun speakers you could put in it. for my desk setup I got a pair of Adam T5V but cant run bigger speakers that produce better low end and even these are a bit overkill. However headphones are the way to go on a desktop. +1 on the couch though, sucks to sit at a desk all day, and a living room setup separates work and leisure and its more convenient if you bring friends over and have them sit on the couch instead of kitchen chairs lmao.

I didn't play GTA V on my PC for a long time. The smoke on those blown up cars is a huge improvement on PS5.
5:22-5:25 Everything is clear from this frame alone, star on the sidewalk, PC textures are clear, PS5 is muddy, you don’t even have to look, PC is out of competition even without ray tracing. Everything else depends on the crooked developers.

Rockstar should have done an HD Remaster of GTA 4, made with the latest version of the RAGE Engine (the original used the first generation RAGE Engine), with modern, original, or classic (PS2-era) controls.
What’s keeping them from doing a GTA 4 Remaster, other than reacquiring the rights to the music?
They actually had remasters of Red Dead 1 and GTA 4 planned but scrapped them after the backlash to the GTA 3 trilogy. Which does suck. At least it plays at 4K om Series X, but Red Dead 1 never released on PC and is not back compat on PS5 so that one is almost lost to time unless you own a Series X or S or have a 360 or PS3. GTA 4 does run at 60 fps on console, but the visuals look rougher by the year at 720p or whatever they are.
It look so outdated, no lifestock, no dirt, no wind, so far from Horizon forbidden and RDR 2 ! I was expecting this level of graphics, it is exactly like the 2015 PC version

That distance detail blur on ps5 is awful. Also missing shadows at 6:57 so shadow graphic setting is lower than it should be on ps5 but but ray tracing! Maybe you could also actually show the PC on max graphic settings.

What a joke of an update, they call this a next gen version yet Rdr2 on Xbox one x and PS4 pro looks better. The bare minimum would have been for them to port the game to the same version of the rage engine Rdr2 uses. This should have been a free update and nothing more. As for the "expanded" content, nearly every free GTA online update has been bigger and added more content than this.

bad comparison. you should split it up. first compare the textures and zoom in on it, compare, grass, draw distance and you don't even zoom it lol, ambient, shadow, reflection..... your walking and driving won't show the viewer see the difference

The differences are so minor that 10 bucks to go back to console is not worth it. It's basically a bad paid dlc for pc. And we lose any frames above 60

Nope. PS5 version is better. No Poppins, no flickering like pc version. Also much higher traffic and crowd density than PC version and mostly important much more consistent framerate at all times compared to pc

Comparing a console to a PC is far from fair and accurate... It is like comparing a PC to a PlayStation... Which playstation? Same here, which PC specs...? Here the graphic card is a GTX... You are oblivious to how graphical processing works. The GTX 1080 TI is still a higher end card no matter how old it is. Do some research. Also in this game there is no support for DLSS or Ray Tracing. If the person used a newer card like the rtx 3060 the performance would be the same if not a few frames behind.

The 1080TI has 11.3 TFLOPS and the PS3 has 230 GFLOPS. You most likely don’t know what these numbers mean. I’ll just say the 1080ti annihilates the ps3 in terms of raw power. Educate yourself. Computers and consoles work completely different.

It pisses me off so badly rockstar won’t just released this on PC. PC has been getting the shit end of the stick and it’s gotten to the point where I can’t even play the game anymore it’s so unstable even on a 3060 it’s not even the graphics it’s just how unstable the fucking game is on PC and they could literally releases for free on there right now but they’re gonna find a way to monetize it. Probably using a low end pc. Even so the PC is better here in most aspects. If you not used to better quality then you cant spot the difference. I use a high end pc and it beats this comparison.
Slightly better than pc, this upgrade should be for free.
