Just some slight corrections: 5:00 Adam's flip definitely wasn't as high as Todd's. Also this would be the 3rd time the reverse backflip has been completed in competition. First time being World Finals 18 with Neil, and the second time being in San Diego 2018 with Tom. This show was genuinely the best show Monster Jam has had in years, including the past few world finals events. From the crush cars, the amazing track, the Pyro, the stunt, the INSANE freestyle carnage, etc. It truly felt like a spectacle. Monster Jam has been missing that with their events, I really hope they ride this high and keep elevating the events like this. Give the regular stadium tours some pyro, add some crush cars, and most of all....let the drivers go all out or at least be less restrictive. Haven't really been excited about Monster Jam the past few years, but man I cannot wait to see these trucks live again after this event IF they let the drivers go hard.
Tom also did a reverse backflip after unsuccessfully trying a moonflip in the all star challenge. Colton and Jared also did a reverse backflip each during the WF 19 Max-D encore
The 15th anniversary maxd encore is one of my 3rd favorite encore 2cnd is maxd 10th anniversary encore and 1 favorite encore is the grave digger 30ith anniversary encore
I feel like the things that finally returned in this challange like the cars and stunts made monster jam in the 2010’s spectacular. I am glad they returned those things and hope they do that more again.
I haven’t seen chassis damage like this on a monster truck since that one King Krunch crash at the TNT Motorsports Monster Truck Challenge. That thing could take YEARS to repair
Technically Adam's reverse backflip was the sixth reverse backflip. Neil did one in WF 18, Tom did one in San Diego 2018, both Colton and Jared did one in the WF 19 Max-D encore, and Tom did one in the All Star Challenge.
Tom had rotten luck. Stuck in first but also lost Rear Drive. The Professor was doomed ☹ Ryan having electrical issues also was a big kick in the pants But overall, that was a hell of a show!
Another note for earthshakers run, he had bent a forelink and they didn’t shut him off. Even after the backflip which bent it more. I was happily suprised by this.
One thing I don't see people talk about is HOW LOW Jim Kohler's score was, he should've gotten a 9 but instead got an 8.3! Otherwise, this was a phenomenal show with a TON of crazy moments. I'm happy to say this feels like an amped up 2009 show.
To my brother's dismay, I really enjoyed this show! To me, racing was kinda lack luster (My opinion), Best trick was pretty sweet, and freestyle was freaking amazing! 100% was better than World Finals 22, I personally don't really mind the over under (Unlike one of my brothers) instead of what they did at World Finals 22. I do agree with what MT said, best event of the year!
I don’t know how racing was lack luster, your entitled your opinion but I think racing was also cool, there was a lot of photo finishes I couldn’t tell even the final race, and like you said I also don’t mind over under, if anything I prefer it over everything else, it’s cooler and more unique race track than j hook was to me
Yeah, I could tell who won between Todd and Tyler because Tyler hit the ramp first, so.. but there were alot of close races, I'll give you that, just felt lack luster to me somehow, idk how, but I agree with you on the "I prefer it over everything else".
@@miketrapper0464 I also cannot rely on it every time, since some trucks get the ramp first, but the other driver gets there first from Momentum and more speed (Tom Meents at World Finals 11 defeating Afterburner in the semi finals is a great example)
I was there, and I talked to Ryan after the show. He wasn't shut off, the truck had a fuel issue and couldn't restart, which he says never happens and his team is still trying to figure out.
If it’s a case where like Bryce the truck decided to give out and he never was shut off, then I like it and prefer that that happens than when rii shuts off the truck for no reason
At 4:55, you said that it was the second time the move was performed. Were you meaning all time, or in the history of the previous 2 team events, because I know the reverse backflip has been done more than twice. Let me know.
When I saw the ThunderROARus stunt truck land on the other stunt truck, I genuinely thought for a second that we were dealing with a repeat of Dennis Anderson's 2017 Tampa incident at first. Glad Tom's okay. Great show overall, though.
Digatron! No sure I'm really into it. What do you think? At least Earth Shaker is still competing under Team Throttle Monster. We don't know which of their many drivers will be driving it yet. Actually, November 25-26 in Omaha, Nebraska will be the end of Tristan in Earth Shaker. Hope he does well & enjoys his final 2 shows in the truck.
Tbh. That stunt would have gone well if the truck didn’t start going into a corkscrew. Hopefully the processed knows what happened and will explain what happened in the stunt. Also if the truck was straight it would still have landed on the back of the monster jam 30th truck. The ramp should of been less steep and the truck would of made it over both trucks.
1:33 Could you remove the "Powered by Hoonigan" when saying Son-Uva Digger since it's not powered by Hoonigan anymore? (Sorry if that sounded like i'm yelling at you)
Hi Jackson will you be going to the Monster Thrillmasters Spectacular this weekend at Sunshine Coast Stadium? It will be the final time that KCs fireworks will be coming to the Sunshine Coast as the company look for a huge expansion. The show will feature Outback Thunda, Tropical Thunda, Devil's Taxi, Sharpshooter and heaps more.
Man I love trucks going over those crush cars going over those crush cars going over those crush cars going over those crush cars going over those crush cars going over those crush cars going over those crush cars going over those crush cars going over those crush cars😂😂😂
It was a forward momentum backflip, which unfortunately failed. Tom always seems to fail the stunts & I don't know why. I wonder if he'll do one more next year before he exits the driver seat.
@@nickspangler5508 not true, if anything he always does them successfully, even the reverse momentum backflip in 2022 he may not have landed it but he did do the rotation perfectly, this one tho is very much I feel like a first failed stunt that actually destroyed 2 trucks in the process
I actually talked to Joe Foley by the Soldier Fortune Display. Apparently it has something to do with all the trucks this year requiring EFI so they ran Feld’s magnaflow headers instead of the typical stack headers. But they might be going back to them
while this event was great i still think 16 trucks is a little too low for an event of this level of prestige. i think 20 could be a good number if they do it again next year
@MonsterTalk: Were you disappointed some trucks didn't get a new design? Only some of the drivers competing in the best truck challenge doesn't make sense. Tom fails another stunt, no surprise there. They should have let him save it at least. Some of the designs were kind of ugly. At least they were only for this event. I wonder why some of the trucks didn't get a new design. They just had different colored rims. Of course this, along with the All Star Fire & Ice Challenge was one sided. I was hoping Soldier Fortune would win something because it was Veteran's Day & she was one of them. You know she was disappointed with her performance, not competing in best trick & having a short freestyle. I'm really bummed Ryan had a short run since he's my favorite. There was too many mechanical issues. Of course the show could've been better, but oh well! Hopefully Avenger reuses the body next year, but I'm unsure now since he crashed twice. Avenger was my favorite design for this event. What about you guys? Favorite design? Were there any trucks that were ugly for you? Unfortunately, the cars, vans & bus were hardly crushed. I hope there's another event like this soon.
I feel like if anything the cars don’t do much, they were there to be crushed but they don’t give good air or anything not even the bus stack was giving big air unlike the ramps, it’s really drivers choice to hit the cars
Ryan wasn’t even screwed over. He had one chance to do his stunt, and didn’t succeed. Simple as that. He also wasn’t shut off in freestyle. His truck had a fuel issue, which prevented him from finishing his run. Also, it’s ironic that you’re telling Feld to get the sport back in check, when they did exactly that with this event.
And also Ryan screwed up the trick himself, he wanted a back to back backflip but he had to go slower to get two rotations in a row in order for that to work, but he didn’t do it right
Stunts: Total fail and Feld need to move on from those. Actual show, looked amazing despite the team competition gimmick, other than that. YEAH CRUSH CARS!!!!!!
