Ironic I was just talking to one of my friends today about rough areas in the US vs the Netherlands and how they don't compare. Kabelbaan, in the US, I would call it a zipline. Looking the word up is interesting, I see it written in different ways like as zip line and zip-line.
yeah, we don't have "ghetto" stuff here at all. Even the worst areas are quite safe, at least during the day. Don't know if I would go frolicking around there at night.
It has improved a lot these last years so i wouldn't say thats necessarely the worst neigbourhood anymore now 20 years ago i would say kanaaleiland zuid of de betonbuurt in overvecht.
