That was SOoo good, and not a single ad. Not one ad , I must have been in the twilight zone.
Groove on ✌️ ❤
I just bought all the DVDs 40$ and found this 😒
Isn't that the most beautiful thing there is, no dumb commercials!💜👏👏👍👍👍

Oooh yeah....Deeelicious 😋
🥳
❤😂❤
William Petersen and Frances McDormand in the same episode, two legends!
I wish MR ROD SERLING, could have written 1000 more episodes 🥰
The Vet in Nightcrawlers gave a brilliant acting performance .
1/29/2024: Good Day & Thanks. I have all the Twilight Zone weekly shows on DVD. I've been watching TZ since around 1965. This compilation is new to me. Love It. Best Regards.
I miss being a little kid watching these and having my mind blown bit at least I remember that
Hahahaha 🤣🤣 don't go to bed before praying hahaha 🤣. Hahaha
Playing or praying?
When i was a kid i remember living on snow cones at the little league games as it was so hot .
Soon i watched every spine tingling thing on TV .
Later Roy Thinnes in the Invader series when the spine tingling introduction gave me chills.
Long ago 1938 War of the Worlds radio broardcast in NYC on Halloween was people going crazy and frantic to leave the city !
That last episode, directed by the great William Friedkin, is just about the most intense 20 minutes in the history of the Twilight Zone - and that includes the original series!
Pretty sure that story and the short sci-fi story where the young boy is killed almost got the show taken off the air (if I remember the producer commentary correctly).

@cloudyinpa777 thank you for the info

Love all twilight zone episodes
Being a huge fan of the 60s TZ I was old enough to watch the 80s one as they came out and for the most part really enjoyed them. They keep some of the TZ spirit alive...
Damn, this is awesome! Just the feel of shows recorded during the late 80s is super nostalgic for me. I was born in '91, so grew up watching reruns of shows from this era.
Lol ur so young
Dang you’re ancient. 😂😂😂
My son was born in 91. You missed growing up in 70's and 80's. Much simpler times.
@@JohnSmith-el6lkMuch better time to grow up in. Thank god I can relive it on youtube.
Dang I’m ancient too 😂😂
Try to explain what they cannot even comprehend . That's the nature of the Twilight Zone .
Thank you for NOT bombarding us with worthless commercials!🙏💜💜💜👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍 I totally LOVE this channel!👍👍👍👍👍
I have come to hate commercials with a passion. Especially the "woke" ones
Indeed, just like all that woke unwatchable movies nowadays@@JohnSmith-el6lk
@@JohnSmith-el6lk What's the matter with this generation and their hatred of commercials. Even back when television had only 3 channels we realized the commercials were a good time to go to the bathroom and get a snack!
@@linsqopiring6816 We have "pause" now, lol.
@@anyonecanseethis5787So you push pause while the commercial is playing and 5 minutes later you can't figure out why the commercial is still on? Sounds about right lol.
Perfect casting...and prop selection. That VW cabriolet breaking down was sure to relate to viewers of the time. I know I worked on more than my fair share.
😮Wow, I remember when cars used to have names like that? Cabriolet...
People always say ' those old V.W.'s are great, they're so easy to work on." How about a car I don't have to wrench on twice a month?
haha. I was watching the VW come up that little hill so loud and clanky thinking damn it must be a diesel version.
I just realized something about that last one. The forensics team will not be able to find one single bullet or one single shell casing even though everything shot up. Because they cease to exist when everything else seems to exist when he died. And just imagine the survivors trying to explain what happened.
It be covered up by FBI. Also if it was me, I won't say a damn word because the system loves to lock people up, put them in asylum just so they can test new drugs. It's already happening in France. New law they are trying to push through where if government comes out with some new drugs, you'll be imprisoned for years and pay over 45,000 euro, if you talk....and that's when you got evidence the drug is dangerous, hasn't been tested thoroughly . Look at what they did to Julian Assange when he showed videos of US government killing Iraqi people like it's a game for them and also the ongoing war crimes they committed all over the world. Moment he talked and moment he mentioned "Israel is the most dangerous for US. Israel is a terrorist state," they went for him hard. So in real world, you'd just say "we don't know what happened. Just massive explosion, and that is it." Or you'd be good as dead.
Welcome to the Twilight Zone 😳
Thanks for uploading these. They are fantastic.
When a vet says they don't want to talk about the war... DO NOT keep prying and asking... well... Mr. Trooper got what he asked for. 😆💥💥💥💥
The After Hours Drinking Game:
You have to take a shot every
time someone says "Marsha".
I have always had a huge crush on Terry Farrell, and this is like 10 years before DS9. Wow she is gorgeous. Honestly though, I feel like the original B/W version is a million times better. It is way more creepy, and even though Terry is a great performer, the acting wasn't even close to as good as the original. That last Nooooo was laughable. It's really silly, the first handled itself and the premise with a lot more seriousness.
Uploader is a hero🤘
Better than most of today's movies. I loved these stories.
The radio station drove everyone crazy in the 3rd one...😅
The cop should have left the poor soldier alone at the end he didn't bother no one at the restaurant
These stories are so awesome! 8/10❤❤❤
Need to Know, looks at the camera... guessing the secret is "Did you ever notice the TV cameras?" Imagine turning around and your 'fourth wall' is gone.
what's makes a good writer is realism within fantasy. That car breaking down is exactly what happened with that model CAR OVER and OVER. My sister bought one to look cute back in the day, saying it was a nice convertible but she spent more time on the side of the road than anywhere else.
I luv these shows, I wouldn't miss an episode if could help it.
"The After Hours" is first episode, that I recognize, from the original series.
And, I've never seen Terry Ferrell so young.
This must've been before Deep Space 9.
Yep this came out about roughly 6 year or so before DS9 I think.
first season was released fall of 1985, it lumbered along for 2 seasons then went into a form of syndication with abbreviated old and newer segments from my recollection.
Ms Ferrell was in "Back to school" with the great Rodney Dangerfield. She looked like a teenager. I always had a thing for her.
Here's a fun fact. Terry Ferrell/Nimoy is married to Leonard Nimoy's son Adam.
I’m always a little bummed how they botched the 80s update of this episode. I love Terry Ferrell and the 80s mall setting is perfect but the script and execution is just a mess.
In the original the “people” at least made sense as mannequins after the reveal. I love my baldies but trench coat bald creeper just has never been in a store window - and the final pose for Marsha is also just poorly done. The chase scene tries to be horror and just goes on waaaay too long.
Also they try to pay homage to the shopkeeper from the original with the 80s version and it just doesn’t flow.
I know I sound nit picky - I love the 80s TZ - I am just always so disappointed by this one because they REALLY could have nailed it and they didn’t on so many levels.
A little trivia question in the Beacon episode. One hears a storm, at the same time with crickets chirping. Living in an area with summertime cricket, I don't remember them being out on stormy nights. They usually take cover, suggesting an overlay of background nature sound tracks that really wouldn't go togoteher.
In the regular world . Not the Twilight Zone .
That's why they done it would be on purpose. ❤
😑
I much preferred the ending to the original "The After Hours" to this revamp.
Need to Know is one of my favorites
That's a very young Giovanni Ribisi in the first episode!
YEH!!! I noticed that too!!!
Damn, I knew he looked familiar. He was a child actor, then- many of them go a little insane in later life. Glad he seems okay, though... great actor.
@@barbarahecht4617
I don’t know how okay he is. He was raised within Scientology and was part of Danny Masterson’s inner circle who defended him after conviction.
I’m not saying that makes him guilty of anything but when you are raised in a cult as a child actor I think your chances of being “okay” are super slim.
Thanks for all of these
Oh wow it's Gill from CSI think that is the only time I've ever seen him in anything else. Ty
That story about the wallpaper, that is very close to a short story by by Charlotte Perkins Gilman "The Yellow Wallpaper." Very similar theme and idea.
big fan since the first season came on my senior year of high school. A conversation starter come Monday mornings at school for sure.
I wasn't sure I'd like the remake of an old episode, The After Hours, but Terry Ferrall and Anne Wedgeworth made it worth my attention. Thanks. In 'Need To Know, why did the old lady bring up Marigold seeds? They are a powerful hallucinogenic. Difference is, Marigold poisoning wears off in about 2.5 days.
The Beacons is very Wicker Man. ❤
And the one with ppl going crazy is very "the crazies" or whatever that movie was called
Agreed!!
24:14 The beautiful Lana from Three's Company!!💘
I think it's Elvira
Also, the sequencing for these volumes is A1. Awesome work✊🖖
I just love Ann Wedgeworth! Rest in peace.
Thank you, perfect editing
Great entertainment it's been years since I last watched it great stuff
I love this show ❤❤❤
Something in the Walls is based on the 1892 short story "The Yellow Wall-paper" by Charlotte Perkins Gilman.
Germ of an idea , but I wouldn't say "based" . The Yellow Wallpaper was much better , but this episode was cool , too , for as short as it was .
Exactly! That’s was my first thought! I teach this short story. 👊😊👊
That thumbnail face is pure nightmare fuel
Thanks this is my first time watching most of these episodes
wow superb selection! Thank you for this ☮
That last guy was seriously "Nam-Trippin".
Thanks Cloudy for the uploads. Glad I found your channel and I most definitely subscribed.
Loved the twilight zone since the 80s ❤
Great episodes loved these as a teenager ❤️uk
The Beacon: Good creepy Lovecraftian story.
(Shadow over Innsmouth, The Picture in the House)
The After Hours: Totally a 1980's teen nightmare.
Need to Know:
"My dog has no nose.
"How does he smell?"
"Terrible!"
"ha ha hA HA HA HAHAHAHAHAH!!!! (X __ X)RIP
Something in the Walls: Good creepy Lovecraftian story.
(The Rats in the Walls, Hounds of Tindalos)
Nightcrawlers: Best of the bunch. Great writing, acting, and camera work.
"The Beacon" - ANY and ALL tightly knit, small-town, possibly backwards ppl, stories ALWAYS creep me the f out!!!
It was pure educational 😊👍
There's no use Marsha😢 poor Marsha👹
No not poor marshal she was a lucky one she got to go out for one moon.
Night gallery was good. I cant find it anywhere.
Tubi
I found night gallery a few years back loss that phone info I will find it again I wish I knew how to post old TV show
Wow! That's Terry the toad! I mean Terry the tiger! Lol
oOOO LAH LAH - DAX from Deep Space Nine 💓
I was a fan of this series and watched almost all the episodes in the 80's, this story about a Vietnam veteran has a mistake in the direction, at the beginning of the story driving a car in heavy rain and screeching tires is incongruous.
I can relate. Being an old stoner (retired), I did have my acid days, actually 3 years. Pattern textures on the walls were always a good indicator of how good the acid was.
Back when trans meant you were watching The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
when everything turns to puzzle pieces that's how you know it's good marijuana the world looks the same but there's the thin black line outline puzzle pattern if it was puzzle pieces in fact it would meet be more along the lines of fractal patterns
Let's do the Time Warp again. ...Madness takes its toll...
that's nice 😐
Gledala sam i odličan je👍👍👍👍👍🇭🇷
Lovecroft Story. The patterns attract beings from outer euclidian spaces....
I would like to find an older series like this but has commercials from the same time.
My favorit is the story about the huge big supermarket store where the customers became
Manequin puppets.
The customer's never become mannequins they already was they let one every now and then go into the world if you noticed as well she was wearing the same close as them.
Marsha
MARSHA

Sounds more like an episode
of The Brady Bunch . . .
“ wow that last one it was way out there heavy and deep look out
Nightcrawlers is one of the best episodes of the entire series.
That last episode was a hum dinger 😮wow
The ending of The Beacon, when it's finally explained what is happening, seems to be a retcon of the ending of Edward Woodward's "The Wicker Man".
That’s what I thought, usually a lot of movies came from Twilight zone episodes, but this seemed to be the other way round
The beacon is an analogy of the Abrahamic religions when confronted with science based facts and how fear- based, illogical, superstitious ideologies destroy the progress and betterment of humanity. I'm so glad I don't believe in sky fairies😊.
Just chatting. Not wanting to restart the 4 and 5th world war. But yes. If a person had only ever seen about 10 films ever and 2 were the ones you compared (Wickerman 7 this TZ) then I could relate a tiny amount to your comparative. But similarities of the two are very distant, or vague. An isolated community living apart from mainstream. Intention to kill the outsider. Both communities live near the sea. That seems about it for comparatives. The rest seems vastly different. Wickerman is a Wiccan Cult, practices of wiccan or witchcraft. Wickerman has a dramatic ending with a four story wickerman offering where as TZ ends with a bit of a wishy-washy suggestion of the outsider being murdered. Of course the TZ ending has the head guy lighting his tobacco pipe with a bright flaming match. But if I went about concluding that every time some one struck a match to light up his tobacco in a movie it was comparable to human sacrifice and the roaring infernal blaze of a four story high wicker man. Then I would likly be better off checking in to the same asylum as the dotty pattern TZ short movie. We need to be carefull that we do not make four dots out of 2 when it's two plus two which equals four and not just two. Except of course in the USA Twighlight Zone. There your door out of your bedroom may start the evenig as perfectly ordinary. But then..............but then only some one who has opened that door can tell you.
I feel like being from PA makes you interested in Twilight Zone 😅
Need To Know seems similar to Shodan from the computer game System Shock, where her morality codes were disabled. In this case, it seems to be a verbal/aural password to hack into the human brain for the same purpose.
Don't push it , hacker!
I liked the mannequin episode.. I saw the original one from the 50s or 60s.. It was so good
I love the Twilight Zone.
As a kid i grew up with the twilight zone today I think I am in it
2020 was a nightmare
"Something in the Walls" Written by JMS was based on a H.P.Lovecraft story.
Ooh, I even get the references! But are you trying to say it was inspired by "Rats in the Walls?" Or something else?
So was the one with yog-sothoth, even though the kid said "yog-sogoth"
The eeriness of the first one gets me.
May the beacon pass you by.
"Nightcrawlers".. they had the ambulance parked way to close to the fire.
Those short storys kick harder then a mule.
" Something in the Walls " is a Lovecroft Storie. Its in the corners . The eucluadian spaces attracts the hound of thantalos....
Really good. The original was excellent.
Contact tracing. Looking for patient zero. In the Frances McDermott episode. Ahead of the times that came
Wow the last one great
I have been enjoying the series they are really good. But this collection was phenomenal and the last segment was absolutely mind-blowing. Such a sensitive topic then as much as now, so almost insane that this type content could have appeared on syndicated television back in the day. OMG
Good point. I'd love to see the look on their faces as they realized.
We owe it all to the great rod sterling the creator...R.I.P my friend
prOpEr SUPERB 💫
The sheriff with the ketchup bottle sure realize he messed up.
The solution is ammonia! They needed ammonia or an Adrenaline Syringe, A Stat.
Button Button is my favorite 😮
This note same is classy old one but it good one any ways😊
Yes, the power we give to absurd beliefs.
Nice
The Vietnam episode is like in the "wonder years" when the friend of wayne comes back.
The orignal mannequin episode was way better than this new version. She apologized to her friends for being so careless and forgetting who she was😅
WHISPHER WHISPER Edward this are your Kids Betty and Eddy!! AAAHHHHHHHH😱😱😖😵😶💀💀
Huh??? I was confused on " the need to know segment"
Nightcrawlers was the episode that Vic Morrow and 3 other actors including 2 kids were killed by an errant fireworks to simulate the war went off at the wrong time. This guy was okay. And the fact that it was even completed is a mystery. They did not want to make it but the producer insisted since the deaths of the actors and crew were due to an accident. The one they had on this had as good as computer made explosives as could be had at the time. Thank you for no ads. I love this.
While similar, this is incorrect as Morrow died filming Twilight Zone the Movie, not any of the series. His portion of the film is about a racist man put in different situations where he is chased by Nazis, VC troops, etc.
@@peterdelessio9274 Yeah but they changed it to Vietnam because of the movies that were out then too. The one about Vietnam POW's and the other one with Bach in the background making everyone cry. Platoon.
We do get these things mixed up. Thanks. And THANK YOU for being kind about it. I am enthusiastic to know my mistakes but sometimes people get so mean about things. I remember. When TZ began I was only 6 years old. A lot of the early ones were above my level of understanding. My mom loved sci-fi. So we would watch together. She knew what the plot line would be. Every time.
@Anim8tedart People are silly. I'd never be mean about a mix-up just to feel better about myself (which is what meanies are trying to do) but rather I know we all appreciate the history of our favorite TV shows. Wish they still made TV like this and I was born during Season 1! Enjoy watching and have a great day!
@@peterdelessio9274 I agree with that. But we were different people back then. But I just stopped watching television in 2012. I was like everyone else. Eat dinner, watch TV, go to bed. There is nothing on these days that makes me laugh or catches my interest. Everything is so dark. No more happy endings. Even real life does have some happy endings.
It is nice to meet you Peter. I am Joyce but my friends call me JJ. You have a new friend who likes sci-fi.
@Anim8tedart Nice to meet you! There is a sci-fi show called Black Mirror you may like. It's bleak, but it is wonderful, especially the early seasons. And hey, if you don't like it, we always have the classics for a getaway.
23:49 Is it just me, or is the clerk woman in purple one of the female actresses from the movie "Grease" !
Almost from the beginning I could tell that there was something just not right about that town.
Omg nightcrawlers
"You kept the beacon from Katie, you must atone. No one will ever escape the beacon again." Creepiest two lines ever uttered.
Last story is based! Directed by William Friedkin.
I'd love to know which version of the twilight zone are these from, and what year did they come out? They are not the same as the 2019-2020 versions. Are these from the 80s or from the early 2000s?
I think I figured it out. These are from the 1985-89 reboot.
Looks like the early 80s to me.
@@ProfessorMystic Yep these are the 80s ones.
Lol they tried to redo them in 2019.... They don't make good stuff anymore I bet those were garbage 😂
@@charliechurch5004yes the 2019 ones are hot garbage lol. The early 2000s are good though, hosted by Forrest Whittaker and also free on UA-cam
70s pulls tab type beer can in the 80s?
Either its an old prop or someone found a stash of really old beer?
Not impossible, 1st time I ever got really drunk was on a 12 pack of pull tab Miller lite we found in my buddies grandpa's garage. In 2001.
"Nightcrawlers" was the best
28:55 - cannot track this soundtrack. If anybody knows name of the track composers and composers, (or where to get it), please share this info with me.
Pet peeve of mine is directors and prop masters etc overlooking ridiculous problems. Like in the very first opening scene: the radiator blowing, and the hood being cool to the touch? And no steam spewing forth 😂. Silly.
