Du tust mir total leid während der uni krank zu sein ist wirklich das schlimmste! Ich guck dich seit deinem ersten jahr in cambridge, ich hab zur gleichen zeit angefangen law zu studieren allerdings in edinburgh. Deine videos haben mich immer motiviert weiter zu machen auch wenn es manchmal schwer fällt und ich hab es tatsächlich geschafft. Ich bin jetzt seit einem jahr ein corporate solicitor trainee und hab noch ein jahr bis ich als corporate solicitor qualifiziert bin.
Ich hoffe dass es dir bald besser geht und du nächstes semster genießen kannst, soweit man law school überhaupt genießen kann...
PS. es heißt tatsächlich competition law in UK und antitrust law in US :)

Hi Elena, I have two autoimmune diseases myself, which I am still working through mentally and emotionally after being diagnosed about 3 years ago. One thing I would highly highly recommend for the joint pain and stiffness is foam rolling. I had been suffering for a year before I discovered it and it literally helped the first time I tried it. At first I foam rolled three times a day, and after all the stiffness and pain went away, I reduced it, and now I only do it once every one to two weeks (I don't really need it but just to be safe). Please do try it, there's really nothing to lose. Look online for videos teaching you how to properly use them. I know other people w/ AI diseases too and they have also been significantly helped by foam rolling. Good luck!

Hi Elena! Long time since I last commented here or checked your channel. I'm so happy to see your progress and that now you have your own apartment. I too finished my masters and moved to the US for my PhD. Funny that I'm currently TAing a course on pharmacy law! I hope that your health gets better too and you always find good doctors to take care of you, with AI diseases and their meds you need to watch out for stress. ,, Anyways wishing you all the best! It's really good that students like her has the courage to show how hard it is sometimes to cope with those right decisions we made in life. Appreciate it a lot❤. And by the way I have a little question. In Germany to do law is it like mandatory to know German language or like do they provide the facilities to pursue a law degree in English language???

I'm so sorry you've been through so much pain 😞 I really hope you'll be feeling better soon and I wish you the best of luck for the surgery and the recovery 💜 Do you mind telling us more about your LL.M program? :) Is it general Law oriented or is it on a specific law field? (I mean the program and the classes, not your research paper which will obviously be on a more specifid topic). And what area(s) of law would you like to work in later? (I'm currently finishing a Paralegal degree because long story short it was better for me than going to Law School which I couldn't afford - this is a back-to-university situation and I already had all the loans and bursaries I could have the first time - and it would have taken 7 years part-time while working plus one year for the Law School Bar, but I'm still enjoying it and I'm doing a second B.A part time in Political Science with a Certificate of Law as a Minor which I'll finish after my Paralegal degree next year - I take one class per semester meanwhile haha. I have my internship only next year, but I still just landed a job in January at my city's Courthouse as a clerk and it's been pretty cool. I've always been more about constitutional law , international law and social & labour law, but I was hired in the Criminal and Penal Division and I quite like it. Watching the hearings and writing the minutes and the judgments and watching the lawyers do their job is a great learning experience so far :) )

@@CHarlotte-ro4yi I always thought if a person gets a common law degree they cannot do anything in a civil law country
@@ajithsidhu7183 some German universities specifically offer LL. M. degrees for students with a foreign LL. B., but you wouldn’t be able to enter the German system and become a full lawyer in Germany without starting from scratch. The German law degree system is not a Bachelor-Master system but requires you to do so called state exams which a LL.M does not provide you with.

She finished her bachelor studies in Cambridge and is now doing her master in Germany
She is from Germany. She finished her education at Cambridge but while she went to Cambridge she also did a study abroad program in Germany and now does her master in her own country.
