I loved this version, although some scenes seemed to have been skipped. I'd love to watch it in its entirety. Both leads were great and had great chemistry. Enjoyed the little twist of some vampiric (ish) abilities. This plotline is one of my favourites, so I will watch any version of it. This version is one of the good ones.

I loved that after the Fl had a second chance, she connected with the Ml who loved her deeply and protected her from her evil uncle, his family and all of her bullies. I loved the warm mutual embraces of the Ml and Fl that were perfection and their great chemistry. It was fascinating that the Fl could control the Ml's beast like illness with her kisses and acupuncture when experts had failed. It showed the power of the Ml and Fl's love as he survived his poisoning without the antidote and as he said, it's all about feelings. The Fl looked beautiful in all her outfits and they both were stunning in their wedding attire. A good drama well-acted with a good love story and a good ending.

Another go for the love story of Shi Wan and Fu Tingchen. I love pretty much every iteration of this story, and this one is no exception - it keeps the fierce love, the loyalty between the couple, and the unapologetic ways they protect each other that I really enjoy about the story. The actors were both good and had great chemistry - thought the vampiric take on the illness or mania of Tingchen was a good (if surprising) addition to the story. I think there are some missing parts of the narrative, and I'd love to see the whole thing. The only thing: whenever the FL has one of those falls into the ML's arms, I burst into laughter because it's SO. DRAMATIC. 😆

Love the wardrobe and location settings of this C-Drama. Although this is another re-make of the same storyline, I enjoyed it with this main couple and think that it was a worthwhile watch. There were several modifications made to this particular version that made it a bit more refreshing. The acting of the ML and FL was actually pretty good. The production's overall allure was fairly consistent and the CP was believable. It was a nice touch that the Caller ID for the FL's uncle was "Bastard" on her mobile. 👍 The ending was okay. On to the next!
