3 Strand Twist vs. Braid Out! | What's the difference?!

- Hi Everyone! In this video i'll be showing you the difference between a 3 strand twist and a braid out. I had a few people ask, "isn't a 3 strand twist just a braid?" Now you'll get the chance to see the different techniques between the two, different results, in this one video.
Steps:
Start on damp hair
Apply product (for this I used Carols Daughter Pracaxi Twisting Custard)
One half seven 3 strand twists and the other side with 7 braids.
Let hair dry overnight (you can sit under dryer to speed up drying time)
Unravel/Seperate
Fluff Roots

I honestly like both braid outs and 3 strand twists! What I like about the braid outs is how much more elongated my hair is compared to the twist. What I like about the 3 strand twist is that I get defined curls.

I do a braid out when I want more volume and a twist out when I want definition 😄
I always wondered if these a difference...but it's very clear that there is. The twistout looks curlier and more intentional, while the braid out looked more crimp. I definitely prefer the three strand twist.
I preferred the braidout. I love the middle part on you.
My 3 strand twists give me more of a spiral look and the plaits give me a Z pattern look. Both are BEAUTIFUL on you!!
I like the twist out better only because of the definition throughout. Both sides look great though. I wish the 3 strand twist wasn’t so complicated!😩😩
I have heat damaged hair, and it's still very curly, I just want my curls tighter. I never knew how to care for my hair, and I wanted to see what I can do. I know braiding out my type of hair will make it more kinky than curly, so I think I like the twist out!

Thank you for doing this!!! Very clearly and careful showed the difference between the two. I definitely prefer the braid out (stretches the hair more, looks more full and the curl is tighter/more defined) but they both look good!
I prefer the braidout for myself because I like the curl definition. It's my go to style. For you I like the 3 strand twist, the curls are looser. I think I will definitely try the 3 strand twist once I learn how to do it. Thank you! Your hair always looks amazing no matter what style you wear.
