I love how the fans have really made the older music come to life. My personal favorite composer of that time is Barry Leitch, and then Chris Huelsbeck, but even they were limited with what they had back then. I don't know how close to the original picture older composers had on the Amiga, but I love remix compilation lists like these for old Amiga music all the same.

When I first went over to a buddies house in the fall of 1988 and listened to his souped-up A1000 on his stereo system, I was instantly blown away. There has been no console that has hit the market since then that left me so impressed...thank you for the video and I still have a couple of A-500's and A-1000s around that I boot up now and again.
I love so much that Mystified remix, these instruments sound so alive !

Dude, you've nailed a bunch of amiga remixes, totally spot on.
The actual first game I saw on this unit was the hacked version of Turbo with the base intro...the first scrolling shooter was Hybris that I think to the day is still a fantastic game, only beat out by Battle Squadron that came out much later.

Pretty much. The fact that you could hit the help key a couple of times and be presented with a music menu for all the tracks in the game was spectacular!
It's sad to know that in about 50 years most users whoever owned an Amiga will be gone.

I would've recommended DaXX's Xenon 2 remix for this. Given that, in my opinion, it's the only decent remix of that tune since it was released in 1988!
To be fair, Tim Simenon got it spot on the first time. DaXX's remix is a complete reworking of the track, and unless you're going to do that to such an iconic track, you're not going to succeed. Again, just my opinion, although I know a lot of producers and DJs who agree with me on that one.
Developers could do so much with the Amiga regarding both sound and technology...the hardware leap from 8 bit computers would be going from a PS2 to an Xbox Scorpio in comparison.
i know the beginning song...recall it now...yeah budbrain....sort-alike-style-tune they used for pinball dreams and pinball fantasies aswell.....typical leasure game-play instead of the ISIS-t0rd-mu-slimes we get nowadays........
