Glory is like one my all-time favorite fantasy characters now. That guy cracks me up.

yea, Glorian is priceless. my buddy based his current d&d character loosely off of him. Still brash and insufferable at times...but always hilarious. He once gave the party all of 12 seconds to negotiate with the chieftan before charging in and smacking the crap out of him.

c'mon yall. Glorian conquered the Temple of All Dooms single handedly. Do you really think your party can match him...even 4-5 on 1? He's too honorable to show them mercy, and lives by the code "Killing = Honor". I'm pretty sure they're screwed if they try anything...and I don't even know squat about them.

Can anyone explain to me why the Wizard thinks he can cast a level 5 CLERIC spell? Or why the ranger expects him to be able to use divine magic?

Loved how the mage schooled them about their own language. Was wondering, is it a real language, or made up? I'm presuming it's made up but it could be old Irish for all I know (I don't know the old Saxon languages)

Well why not? It's not like I would recognize either of those languages if I heard them.

Is it wrong of me to compare Perf to Rincewind from the Discworld novels?
I mean, he claims that he isn't a great wizard, he tends to run away when Glorion isn't paying attention and he seems to have a knowledge of languages. (or at least the Orcish one. :P)
Hell, he even seems to run a bit like Rincewind did in the Live-Action mini series.
But, I love him.
And he does seem to be a tad braver than Rincewind. ;)
Also I can't believe that I only found the series today. I wish I found it sooner!

I remember when we were playing Dark Heresy and we were supposed to collect a legendary sword from a fallen inquisitor, and it was literary THIS close that the sword choose the wrong dude, we had an incompetent Cleric, a half-demon psyker (me), a batshit crazy techpriest and a guardsman who there was nothing wrong with (well, in comparison at least..). Luckily the guardsman was the one who reached it first! :D

I don't think every failed mage is a copy-cat. And the warrior is more close to the typical dnd insane fighter than Monty Python's Holy Grail.
