I think the pulley on the tensioner was secured by a rivet, so it's quite a difficult part to replace by itself. And on that particular part, it's more likely the tensioner mechanism would go bad rather than the pulley, as it's constantly working hard. The tensioner is the critical part to replace, - when mine broke, the belt shredded and the car was undrivable (since the water pump and the power steering went out) so you might as well replace the tensioner/pulley in one. It's a $60 part that could kill your engine if it goes so don't cheap out.
Does Anyone know how to replace JUST the pully on the automatic belt tensioner? Why spendmore than you have too?
