I came across your channel by accident during my search for the B3 - as I'm going to add it to my collection - an F31 and F15. The report is beautifully presented and interesting. I subbed immediately. grtz
What a smart review about the B3. Travelling through Europe each year I confirm all what you say about Alpina: it has no equivalent in term of performance, comfort, and....daily use. So many qualities in such a discret look. I am also the proud owner of a green F31 B3 Touring (n°133)
In the most beautiful alpina color. Very lucky. May I ask you if you have the Allrad? And what's your average consumption liters per 100km, average and at highway speed cruising?
@@nab5018 Thanks for your comment. My B3 is a RWD, it is my choice, question of feeling regarding my way of driving. It's easier to control if you are much too fast in a curve....It never happened ! but... My average consumption is 9.5 L (in France the speed limit on mortorway is fixed at 130 km/h......) At fast speed in Germany it may be 13/14 l (average speed around 200 km/h) Last WE I went in Nederland and used the eco-pro mode during 350 kms on motorway (means maxi 132 km/h), the consumption seems to have been 12%/14% less than the average 9.5l
@@paulherveparsy4825 Thank you very much for your detailed answer. Salutations
I have to disagree on the ‘discrete look’. I owned B3 touring nr029 and never had a car screaming for attention more than the Alpina. The cold start, the pops and bangs, the wheels and striping and constantly being surrounded by car spotters are all ‘one massive shout out’. I dont mind but i can hardly call it discrete…
Man! Ending was great! Iam also Alpina fan,got B6,B5 and B3 limousine the same engine as yours ! Congratulations of havin this great car! Greetings from Eutope
So true. Unfortunately in my country you cant have a nice performance car without attracting the wrong sort of attention eventually. This is for the people that want performance and are happy to keep it to themselves.
Thank you very much! Waiting for AU to open up soon so I can get to driving some of the awesome roads there.... albeit within the draconian speed limits. 😁
@@Robin-sf3gk b5 is great but just as the b7 its quite expensive. And in my opinion new 3 series are as large as the old 5 series. That is why i like them. A 3 series is large enough. And the B3 is perfection of both worlds speed agility And great value. Do wish the B3 would have the same top speed as the B5 330km/h.
Most enjoyable and understated like the car. I share your enthusiasm with a B4 coupé and a D3 Touring. Lovely Tanzanite Blue; mine are in Alpina Blau. Suggest de-decaling. Are you in Oz? Best wishes from UK.
Great video and cool T-shirts(both)! It’s very lovely and picturesque in Singapore! Could you write the exact colour of this B3? (If decode VIN which can be seen in video - exterior is “special colour” and it isn’t look like “Alpina Blue”)
A wonderful and forrett review. My i4 M50 is on the way, but at the same time I´m trying to find an E91 LCI B3 or B3S, as they are becomind affordable. Greetings from Norway. :)
No this is the outgoing model. We don't get the G-series B3 here in Singapore till 2022 at the earliest. Hope I can do a back to back when it's available.

Thank you for the kind words. Look out for episode 3, which is currently in the works!
Great review and lovely spec, pure class.
Great video. Thank you. 👍🏼
Thanks for watching!
Nice review. Good to see a Singaporean review

Exceptional! I so enjoyed this. Great work here. Thanks for sharing and please keep em coming.
That’s one of the coolest reviews ever.

Wow! B5 and B6 must be even more awesome to drive.
Enjoyed your review and choice of car……I’m enamoured by Alpina….
Great job in telling the Alpina story !
Another awesome video! And on my favourite subject!
Great review of the alpina finally from outside Europe … I wish own one of these soon but we losing a lot of diesels in uk 🇬🇧
Don't wait too long. Get 'em before the world goes fully electric.
I'd say a alpina B3 is a 3 series high class luxury line on steroids

Really great car !! I have one (B3 S) and every second you drive it is a amazing moment! And the best is………..the car is very very rare . Ciao ✋
what a quality review, summed up very well. top work fella
Thanks very much!
Very nice review of the B3 with a nice run down of the Alpina lineage 👌👌👌
great video man, i really enjoyed it - keep up the great work, Alpina F31 is awesome
Beautiful car you have got there, Alpinas are just awesome
Thanks for the wonderful video.
nice review, and indeed Alpina's are very special. I am the proud owner of the F31 B3, number 215.
Very cool! Not many F31 B3 owners here in tiny SG. Where do you hail from?
@@thesparetyreofficial I live in the Netherlands. Maybe a bit more B3's here, but still a rare one, also part of what makes them special.
Great to know another owner, same F31 B3 number 90 🙋🏻♂️
Nice review. I own a 2009 E90 D3 Biturbo which for me is awesome. Have you seen the Alpina register lots of chat in the forum and some nice meets too.
Thank you! The Alpina Register is an awesome resource! i think my car is there on the owner's gallery from 2017!
Good stuff! Really appreciate the history and your opinion on the car. Give us the full on Singlish version!
Excellent review 👍

This B3 is my wet Dream or the B7. But B7 is so far from my price range i forget it exists. Also the rarity of them 😍😛
What do you think about the B5? :)

Great cars, i have the d3 biturbo, just love the way it handles the british roads,, just soaks up all the bumps, so much better than a M3 would
Great vid nicely done
the way you narrate the video was awesome. why didnt you keep continue uploading videos?

Glad you enjoyed it! And awesome that you have both the coupe and the touring. Sadly, car prices in Singapore are such that I can only afford 1!
Great video and even greater car! (lucky bastard)

Thank you very much! This B3 is in Tanzanite Blue metallic. And yes, it's darker than the Alpina blue which is a more popular colour
How come this B3 has the original BMW shifters behind the wheel rather than the Alpina ones, were they retrofitted?

love the music :)
First in again! Great intro!
Nice car! I have the b4😎
The racecar on his T shirt is the original scary rabbit teeth grill 😬
i see往电梯,are u from singapore or hongkong?
Great vid. Dude are you from England?
nah he's from Singapore! :)
Indeed I am! 100%
Can I ask what colour your Alpina is?
It's Tanzanite Blue - originally introduced on the F80 M3 I believe.
where can i get that bmw M t shirt?
This is not the latest B3.. right?

❤❤❤❤
I will hear the sound you drive like my grandma
Whats about this fake German numberplate ???
Haha! Just a nod to the origins of the car.
