Ferris actually has one of the best warranty’s , even on the commercial usage . As for customer service, that’s a different story that is more related to the individual dealer.
Thats the one I'm interested in. I have 5 acres to mow and have been doing it for 12 years with a kubota that only has a suspension seat. Had fusion surgery earlier this year on the lower back and I think I need to find something that handles our bumpy property a little better. Was originally looking at ferris but do like the stihl colors. My kohler on the kubota has been reliable but boy is it a gas hog so I am hoping a Kawi with efi might be the fix.
@@spyder000069 I hear Ya. I just recently hung up my hard hat after over 45 years of getting thrashed around in heavy equipment. I wanted a great machine with the best possible ride, and I couldn’t be happier. I got the 28 hp EFI Vanguard with Vanguard oil system, which I really like except for the rip off 30$ price tag for the oil filter. No complaints on fuel consumption, seems decent.
@@spyder000069 Also, I did my research prior to purchase. One of my neighbors has been the groundskeeper at a nearby 20 acre cemetery and all they use is Ferris for a very long time and He says nothing better. Good enough for me!
I got the Stihl 560 k. It seems fast and smooth. I was looking at the Ferris 800 and a Ferris dealer who also sells Stihl told me to come and look at these new Stihls. Well I came home with one.
I just bought an RZ900i 72” mower. Winter seems to have let go and we’re getting green grass coming up. I haven’t used it yet but probably in the next 7 days?
Ferris quality with the backing of Stihl customer service /warranty? Sounds like a win!

The 700 is the ISX 2200 Ferris. Have had mine for 3 years, love it, great machine.
