I've owned this watch for a year now. Battery life is very good and seems like I hardly charge it. Functions work well and it's well designed and built. I'd highly recommend this for a cheap smart/fitness watch.

Nice quick review. I have it for about a week now. Only real con are the bands. Too rigid... They are from tpu not silicone and not long enough, but I am a big guy, that is understandable. I ordered replacement 20mm bands for Samsung galaxy3 watch. I think they will be good, similar design, but a bit thicker. Do you have any info about Amazfit Ares? When will it be available globally? It was my first choice, since it went too long waiting I got Neo. Ares would be just the right link. Like Bio S and Neo combined.

Thank you . great video . I am a watch junkie as a buy many of them and enjoy all of them for what they do and look like. This one takes me pack to the good old days and is simple to operate has useful features great battery life. And Always on display. Better than some of the fake apple watches out there that claim to have features that don't work. This one is reliable and easy to use thanks .

Just got mine today and very happy with it. Downside is it is a bit cheaply made plastic and could do with a vibrating mode aswell otherwise happy 😊😊😊. Big up from Scotland 👍

Excellent , wish they made it thinner and even smaller. Casio should look into making a retro watch with a few such functions like step counter , alarm , timer , countdown. I wouldn’t even want phone connectivity if it added days or weeks to battery life.
Basically a slimmer more functional and more high end Casio vintage ae 1200whd.

Does the app track your heart rate all day long od do you have to check it by selecting to test it on the watch? Some comment said it consumes a lot of battery when using the heart tracking feature.
You can set it on intervals and no, doesnt consume so much. Maybe instead of 30 days battery can be 15 or 20
Want to buy similar one with vibrating motor. Can you suggest one?
Have you experienced any battery issue? If I leave my watch on, it drains battery like crazy. Like 1% every 5 minutes maybe.

Any 20mm silicone soft bands will work. If you need the shape to be similar, like a bit wider at the watch side search the replacement for Samsung galaxy 3 watch bands 20mm.

Maybe look into NATO bands? Look them up on Amazon. Is this watch 20mm band width? If so, just type NATO 20mm and it should show up quick.

I have a thinner wrist than you and the watch looks somewhat smaller...I expected it be a lot bigger, I don't know if it was my eyes playing games on me... and I was testing it too and the battery went from 56% or something to 23% after a couple of hours of a lot of constant heart tracking cuz I thought it was *ALSO* playing games on me...**facepalms**
but please can you send the dimensions of the watch? like excluding the straps only the width length and height of the main machine? that would mean a lot to me.
update: I just noticed the straps are different from yours... they don't have those lifted borders across the top and bottom of the strap : /

I still find it weird why digital watches are always classed as 'retro' when analogue watches (which is a MUCH older technology) aren't thought of as retro?

I think its more because Analogue watches have that classy feel to them and have been around for a LONG time, even until now.
Digital watches just have that retro look cause they've not really evolved with the style and always looks as they did when first produced. That's just what I think, may be completely wrong haha

Analog watches were not birthed within the 20th century, whereas digital watches were a modern 20th century invention and basically became a specific style for a certain generation; most popular in the 1980s. Without smart watches or smart phones, digital watches would still be looked at as totally modern though. Many people think digital watches are useless and outdated concerning functionality (true in one sense, yet false in another), thus not "cool" anymore, and waste of money to them. I do not agree because some batteries on certain watches, like Casio, can last roughly 10 years, give or take a few, depending on how much one uses the light, alarms, etc. And some of the Casios are solar powered as well. When your phone battery dies out, you'll be happy to have that "outdated" digital watch on you! 😉 Casio DBC32 with calculator and 25 slot databank is also useful when that smart phone battery dies. 😉 People underestimate emergency situations until they're in one, and by then it is too late! Now they learn the lesson the hard way. Not just with watches or phones, but many areas of life.
Becauae after this the calculator watch came, and since then every lcd watch is retro
@@Northanteus I have the DBC-32 on me right now and been wearing it for the last 5years, since my F-91W broke. Love it! But to be honest, the numpad keys are so freaking small that I rarely use the calculator😅
