Hi, You fell in live with Judeo-Christian values, which is certainly a beautiful belief system. However, that's not enough for your eternal salvation my sister. You *MUST ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST THE SON OF GOD* in order to *BE BORN AGAIN, AND BECOME A CHILD OF GOD.* *John **1:11**-13 AMP* *[11]* He came to that which was His own [that which belonged to Him-His world, His creation, His possession], and those who were His own [people-the Jewish nation] did not receive and welcome Him. *[12]* *But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the right* [the authority, the privilege] to *become children of God*, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name- [13] who were born, not of blood [natural conception], nor of the will of the flesh [physical impulse], nor of the will of man [that of a natural father], but of God [that is, a divine and supernatural birth-they are born of God-spiritually transformed, renewed, sanctified]. I pray for this transcendent experience to happen in your life. Thank you.
So it seems she is not a Christian but she does think she has Christian values. The Bible says saints do not die because their sins are forgiven. They are glorified and go to heaven. Everyone else is judged at the great white throne judgment. The just have no need of repentance and go into life on the new earth. Acts 24:25, 1 Timothy 4:10, Hebrews 9:27, John 3 and 5, Romans 2. @@ThoughtsOnTheseThings i do not agree. she holds values that came about during christianity's 1000 year reign over western countries. But some of these values existed before this and some only showed up after 900 years or so. So i do not accept that assumption that these values come from the christian religion. Sure they have adopted and integrated those in the religion. This is why we are calling them judeo-christian values today (along with them developing in western christian countries). But i see no reason to think it is the religion that caused these values. We could even argue that some values came about in spite of christianity.
Well, I see what you are saying though. But If you consider that she was raised a Muslim, and the became an Atheist, then you will see that her initial values would be far from those that came about during christianity's 1000 year reign over western countries. The combination of being born an African in a Muslim home takes you far from Christian values imposed on western countries. But we can agree to disagree though
@@cjk8249 I will give you 4. Obviously we cannot prove definitively where a value comes from. But i will make the case it wasnt the christian religion. 1) Marrying for love/arranged marriages. My great grandparents were part of a church-arranged marriage. They never met eachother till a week before the wedding. Despite being nearly erased from the history books this was a common practice at-least till 1937 (this is when they got married). So for thousands of years marrying wasn't exclusively for love under christian rule. A value now very important to the christian and the western world. We even see the same happening in Islam where arranged marrigaes were common till like atleast 30 years go. But has since kinda dropped of the earth in more modern islam countries like turkey. But still happening in less modern countries like iran. Showing this values is more in line in being present in modern secular societies than religious ones. 2) Slavery. I will keep this short. Slavery was all good for thousands of years under christianity. The bible even mentions it (whether you think in favor or against i dont care, it mentions it so it was normal at the time). It took only to the year 1865 to abolish it in america (other countries were earlier). When in fact Wang Mang of the Xin dynasty abolished it in the year 10 only a sloppy 1855 years earlier. How come it took soo long for christianity to turn on slavery (yes i know chistians were at the forefront of this). Is it because of christianity? or were there other factors that caused them to change their position after thousands of years like this little thing called the enlightenment? 3) Hitting your child. The bible still allows for this, yet most christians no longer agree that this is a good thing. How come? The bible should inform the christian should it not? or are this again regular modern human values seeping their way in? 4) Womens rights. While the bible can be interpreted to support both sides on this. Its clear that for the first thousand years it was interpreted as women being lesser than men and have a specific role. Not anymore? The bible didn't change, the religion didn't change. Yet the people did. What caused the change? I hope you see the picture i am sketching. Its funny to see islam basically going through the same process just 200 years later.
I 💯 agree. She is a work in progress. Amen 🙏 it’s seems she just associates with the values of Christianity and not the life of Christ that comes to absolute surrender to Christ and an acceptance of His Lordship.

So ... Ayaan was born an Atheist ... raised as a Muslim ... converted back to Atheism ... and now has converted to Christianity. If she is a Catholic Christian ... Protestants won't believe that her "soul" is "safe" ... and if she is a Protestant Christian ... Catholics won't believe that her "soul" is "safe." And that doesn't "account" for all the people in other religions that are "bound" to judge her as being in the wrong religion altogether. Once you believe that you HAVE a soul that leaves the material body at death ... your main concern becomes "Where is my soul going to go in the hereafter?" Atheists do not believe in the existence of gods ... spirits ... souls ... or a hereafter ... so we only focus on how we behave in this one life. Now that Ayaan is a Christian ... she has to worry about whether or not this judge-mental god is going to accept her "soul" ... or ... reject her "soul" as being too tainted "for it's own GOOD." After being indoctrinated as a child into religion ... then leaving religion behind as being a divisive nasty addiction ... I prefer Atheism as my ongoing addiction. Ayaan can believe that because she is now a Christian ... she is SAVED ... and that her unfortunate Muslim relatives ... along with billions of others that are in the wrong religions are the LOSERS. You fell in live with Judeo-Christian values, which is certainly a beautiful belief system. However, that's not enough for your eternal salvation my sister. You *MUST ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST THE SON OF GOD* in order to *BE BORN AGAIN, AND BECOME A CHILD OF GOD.*
*John **1:11**-13 AMP*
*[11]* He came to that which was His own [that which belonged to Him-His world, His creation, His possession], and those who were His own [people-the Jewish nation] did not receive and welcome Him.
*[12]* *But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the right* [the authority, the privilege] to *become children of God*, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name-
[13] who were born, not of blood [natural conception], nor of the will of the flesh [physical impulse], nor of the will of man [that of a natural father], but of God [that is, a divine and supernatural birth-they are born of God-spiritually transformed, renewed, sanctified].
I pray for this transcendent experience to happen in your life.
Thank you.
Very well said. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on these things.
You have not actually read the bible have you ?
So it seems she is not a Christian but she does think she has Christian values.
The Bible says saints do not die because their sins are forgiven. They are glorified and go to heaven.
Everyone else is judged at the great white throne judgment. The just have no need of repentance and go into life on the new earth.
Acts 24:25, 1 Timothy 4:10, Hebrews 9:27, John 3 and 5, Romans 2. Revelation 20-22.
Who cares what iron age superstition says ?
With christian, do you mean believing in god and accepting Jesus as your savior?
or do you mean that you hold to the values that came about in christian dominated western cultures?
Because she is the 2nd not the 1st.
Yeah, by Christian I mean believing in God and accepting Jesus as the only Lord and Savior. However, it seems she holds the values are associated with the Christian religion.
But, one thing is that it is difficult to know the content of Her heart and her confession of the Lordship of Jesus Christ. And that is why I cannot make any pronouncement to the contrary except by what she says.
@@aidanya1336Please expound on some value that came about in spite of Christianity.
Sounds like she is a work in progress. I pray she encounters the Holy Spirit and she accepts the salvation of Christ
I 💯 agree. She is a work in progress. Amen 🙏 it’s seems she just associates with the values of Christianity and not the life of Christ that comes to absolute surrender to Christ and an acceptance of His Lordship.

Spoken like a quintessentially indoctrinated religious person.
Let any deities speak for themselves. None have done so as far as I'm concerned and thought and feelings don't count.
No delusions have infected the human conscience more than religious superstitions have..they're absolutely despicable. I quiver at the fact that most humans have been indoctrinated into one religion or another..only to grow up being unable to scrutinize their deranged beliefs.
What a world we live in..imagine having to tell full fledged adults that myths aren't real..that resurrections, noah's ark and prophets aren't real. Its very easy to label religious people as stupid and completely incompetent as far as intellectual discourse is concerned.@@duncanbryson1167

Once you believe that you HAVE a soul that leaves the material body at death ... your main concern becomes "Where is my soul going to go in the hereafter?"
Atheists do not believe in the existence of gods ... spirits ... souls ... or a hereafter ... so we only focus on how we behave in this one life.
Now that Ayaan is a Christian ... she has to worry about whether or not this judge-mental god is going to accept her "soul" ... or ... reject her "soul" as being too tainted "for it's own GOOD."
After being indoctrinated as a child into religion ... then leaving religion behind as being a divisive nasty addiction ... I prefer Atheism as my ongoing addiction.
Ayaan can believe that because she is now a Christian ... she is SAVED ... and that her unfortunate Muslim relatives ... along with billions of others that are in the wrong religions are the LOSERS.
Followers of Ayaan's podcasts ... must have a difficult time ... trying to keep "track of her."
Albeit that Ayaan now thinks that as a Christian she is "better off" than her Muslim relatives ... from my point of view ... all competitive divisive self-flattering religion is NOT good.
Wait dude don't just gross over, does god exist is a wrong question to ask, without explaining why

Just as many Jews are athiests but culturaly Jewish, Ayaan is perhaps of the athiest Christian leaning group.
Few folks actually believe in a supernatural God or religiius priests ''truth ' claims.
Love how a young and relatively uneducated person how some of the leading intelectuals are asking the wrong quesstions, started asking eright questions and voila, we have another christian in the world. Brilliant.
Ummmm. do you mean Ayaan Hirsi Ali is a young and relatively uneducated person? You might want to reconsider that given that she was among the leading intellectuals of the new atheist movement.
Asking the right questions would lead any rational & sane person away from religion..but I sense you're the type who would say something unoriginal & dogmatic like "ItS nOT a RelIgiOn bUt a RelAtiOnShIp" 🤡

@@ThoughtsOnTheseThings your welcome. It's very wise to point out the wisdom of leading with christian values. It's the values that brought me home, it will be for many others.
Very glad to hear that. Many other people need to hear stories like yours
@@HarryNicNicholas she believes*
In the case of Ayaan, yes. She was an influential part of the new atheist movement, so when she made this argument for christianity based on objective morality, a lot of atheists got to see that Christianity is more than mere superstition.
It also exposes the shortcomings of secular liberalism, that one of their champions chose Christianity, even while in a state of disbelief. The lack of belief is the most compelling part of it. I'm sure her studies and practices will only strengthen her faith and appreciation for Christianity and Christian values
@tandme2342 there is truth in all myths, that's why they survive the test of time, though in some more than others. Judea-Christian tradition and philosophy has guided our society throughout its evolution for at least 6000 years, throughout that time it has incorporated the wisdom and traditions of various other cultures, while remaining distinct and outlasting countless ideologies and cults. Do you think you are smart enough to abandon the wisdom of over 6000 years of philosophical and spiritual development? That would be pure hubris.
This is why Ayaan has come to the conclusion she pronounced at the ARC forum
Praise the Lord Haleluia Amen 🙏
Amen. Thank you
For those who think that Atheism is that they believe there is no god or deity to worship.
Atheism is a religion, most of their principles are based on the rejection of Jesus Christ.
But, as you hear Miss Ali, the Judeo/Christian values are printed and practiced by believers of Jesus and the Atheists also believe and practice them.
Wrong, please do not tell me what I believe, it is the hight of arrogance. You are either an idiot or dishonest to claim Atheism is a religion.
Wow, that's one of the worst descriptions of atheism I've ever read and I've read a lot of them...
@@Syrph.There are books on the subject:
Critiques of god by Peter A. Angeles
An Anthopology of Atheism and Rationalism by Gordon Stein
The New Encyclopedia of unbelief by Tom Flynn
The lost years of Jesus Christ revealed by Charles Francis Potter
There are lots of writings not only on Atheism but "Humanism" like they love to call them selves now.
They are in a mission: Destry Jesus and humanity. From them came Communism.
@@HarryNicNicholas Yep, that is on the target.
Just a reminder that not all religion are created equal. Islam orders, commands it's followers to exterminate us.
Sahih Muslim Book 041, Number 6985)
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him; but the tree Gharqad would not say, for it is the tree of the Jews.
There are plenty of verses in the Qu'ran and in the Hadiths to kill those who don't believe in Islam.
So, you all can worship what ever you want but don't forget the values that our founding fathers gave us.
Atheism/Humanism needs to practice those values as well.
