@@danhanley1313 of course I own a renault megane rs250 trophee I bought in 2018 at the time I wanted a 275 premium but couldn't afford it before buying my rs 250 I drove a Subaru wrx and Mazda mps and golf R and In my opinion the wrx had poor and dated interior the Mazda was good but is known for its torque steer and the golf well over priced for what it is the megane has recaro seats and brembo breaks which none of the others have and is cheaper so it's a no brainer

Also, great car mate. exactly the colour and wheels I would get. I just wish they still offered the option of getting a sunroof on the facelift models in Australia.
I suppose being a straight line test video, people may criticise it's quarter mile time.. Trust me, they are faster than that in the gears. But the best thing is the amazing front end grip. ..
Car is a work of art especially the redbull edition.
I've got an RS265 - RB8 and they're really unique, great to drive and plenty of positive feedback. Great car.

I'm looking at buying one but what should i look out for in these RS 250 and 265? the ripped bucket seats? if its been tracked? serviced on time etc? and is the 265 much better aside from a bit more power?

You have two options: wait 25 years and then import it as a classic, or try to omologate it (meaning get aproval from the EPA, do crash testing, all that to get it to US standards) and it will cost you thousands...if not millions....so the short answer is: no.

But who goes any faster than over 200km? It's not even legal to do that sort of speed at most places around the world. Even on track I doubt people drive at that kind of speed

It pops and crackles on up and down shifts. and is one of the best driving machines money can buy. These are as quick as a front wheel drive car will get

ValdeSanus hp means max speed you can achieve, bur torque responsible for how fast you can accelerate, lol!
SunLoverMan Torque is not a measurement of energy, but of leverage. A 800hp/300NM F1 motor is faster than a 150hp/800NM truck motor. End of story.
You get the impression that torque gives you acceleration as turbo motors with high torque have more power at lower rpm. You get the same acceleration with low torque high revving motors as you have a gearbox.

Rs250s can do 14.3 standard. This guy wasn't launching it at all. Not enough revs on take off.

It is not built for drag racing. It can be modified as well.
