The grip is an important piece of the puzzle when it comes to playing golf. However, you may be surprised to find out that you don't have to build a grip that is uncomfortable and unproductive.

I have read many books, magazine articles and web posts and seen many videos on the grip. This might be the best I've ever seen. This video explains a lot of the "why" you want to grip the way you do. Plus, the way to find the grip (from impact position) seems like it makes just too much sense. Bravo!
Thank you so much for the kindest of comments and happy to have shed some light on the grip topic for you. Hope you'll join me for more in the future:)
Ah, I've never heard anyone suggest to keep the trail elbow pit pointed forward while placing the trail hand. That makes total sense, since that's where it needs to be at delivery. I never really had any idea how weak or strong to make the right hand other than, thumb in the lifeline of the other hand. That gives me something else to go on.
Something new coming this week that will build on this mentioned thought:)
Interesting video, the grip is the first thing you learn but then the first thing you start to mess with when things go slightly wrong. I used to have a weak left hand but strengthened it to get rid of a high fade. But having done a lot of work on my swing, with the aid of your videos and a few others', I think I need to weaken it a bit as I'm starting to miss low and left more often. I'll definitely try your putting it together technique.
This was really Good, just One question, where does it go in the trailhand, in the fingers, at the bortom(start of the fingers) at the fingerpads, or bellow the fingerpads? Do you have more videos on grip?😊
Robin, I am really sorry I missed this question/comment. I have no idea how I did. Glad you enjoyed the video. In most cases (but dependent on lead hand strength, length of fingers etc.,You'll have in the fingers with it starting more towards the base. Hope that helps and I have one other grip video on the website I think. I have more coming to the website this May when I roll out all of the new series.
Love the approach on the grip, it's funny, but that grip was what I used 2 years ago with great success, but I got away from it, Pete Cowen advocates something very similar. I signed up and subscribed
Awesome! Thank you so much for watching and joining us on the channel!
I struggle hitting the ball. It keeps going left to right. Losing yardage also..
have the same issue but only because I'm fixing my swing path, its natural at first. to lose everything it's almost a square 1.
It’s frustrating beyond belief! There are some videos on the channel like the impact series that can help you get started fixing this. Otherwise, I have some stuff coming out in the very near future that can help you out.
@@MyGolfDNA Thank you so much

My miss is constantly hitting fat, the ground behind the ball?
So many factors play a role in the fat shot. Early throw of the club causing the body to shut down the low point moving back is the most common one. I might suggest that you work through the impact series of videos that I have on the channel at the moment to see if that can you started down the correct pathway. Here is video 1 in the series... ua-cam.com/video/iubahjQFb6E/v-deo.html
