was pheonixpen given permission from you to upload your song? because his video has around 6x as many views as yours, and it seems unfair that the original creator would have less attention, especially if no permission was given.

One thing that pisses me off is how people are so quick to jump on anyone that re-uploads VGR's songs
Now don't get me wrong, I understand that he deserves all the credit and people shouldn't steal
But check the description first of those videos and see if VGR was credited people
Half of the time people comment and complain about how other people are stealing his views when in actuality the people that ask for permission are just trying to help VGR himself get more views.
Seriously people, check the description sometime.
+Turnt SNAKo I get where you're coming from but I'd rather the people who re-upload my songs just send people to my video instead because they are unintentionally blocking trafficking to my channel. A good percentage of people who find one of my songs re-uploaded on somebody else's channel will never end up coming to my channel, and so regardless of if the channels give me credit for the songs or not, I'm in fact losing subscribers (and revenue) in the process, if that makes sense.
+Video Game Remixes I get what you mean, but I found you through those multiple posts (mostly PhoenixPen's) and thought your shit was really good. I understand you lose subs this way but the people who ask permission are just trying to get attention for you out and a video for their subs out

I gave permission to PhoenixPen too and I have no problem with that one specifically either but in the end it doesn't give me the trafficking I'm looking for, because even if people recognize I made it, that doesn't necessarily mean they'll take the time to go to my video instead of the re-uploaded one. It's like when people use spotify or music streaming instead of iTunes; I always buy my songs off of iTunes to respect and support the artist directly, as funny as that may sound. As a content creator, I just would prefer if views went directly to me, rather than getting transferred from channel to channel (where I definitely lose views along the way).

Pardon me if this sounds rude but there's a degree of uncertainty as to whether or not you made this. I found this same remix a few months ago and recently when I used the same link to go back to it, a copyright claim had been filed by "Nic Gitter" (who has -and I checked- nothing of note to his name). Unfortunately however, the removal of the original video means that I can't find out when it was first uploaded or the name of the uploader. All I'm left with is the link to the removed video which just displays that it was removed due to a copyright claim (if you check my channel you can see that I re-uploaded it under the assumption that it was nowhere else on UA-cam due to those circumstances). Since the amount of plays that this has on your Soundcloud is so large, (and that it was uploaded around 4 months ago) the strongest possibility is that you did in fact make this yourself. Nevertheless, could you shed some light on this to clear up any confusion?
Mr. Universe Sure! Here are 5. ways I can assure you I made it.
1. Check my Soundcloud: there's a hyperlink in my bio that directs you to NO'K (my original mixes). Check the true name of the artist NO'K in the bio; that's me, Nic Gitter. So UA-cam took down that other video because they stole it from me.
2. If you find any other video with this remix in it, all of the ones I know of with an exception of one have given me the proper credit in the video captions.
3. Check out my video ua-cam.com/video/34VgnRgAXxE/v-deo.html this is footage of the remix when it still wasn't finished. I think that should be proof enough that I made it.
4. Check my SoundCloud. I have more than one remix that I made, right? Now check the UA-cam accounts of the other people you think might have made this remix. Do they have any other remixes on their accounts? As for as I'm concerned, no, and if they do, they probably stole those as well. This remix just happens to be my most popular one, but I personally feel my other remixes are of the same caliber as this one. Point being, I can assure you I made the remix because the guys who stole it don't even make music.
5. Finally, and most importantly, if you look up "Stronger Than You remix" on google or some other search engine, look for the date in which my remix was published: March 28th, 2015. Check any other video or soundcloud that tried to steal my remix; I assure you it wasn't published before March 28th.
I hope that's enough proof for you. I have had to fight time and time again to prove it's my property, and as you can imagine it's gotten really old.

You really need to consider using aivi & surasshu when you credit the ORIGINAL composers... not "steven universe". Aivi & Surasshu worked hard and put A LOT of thought into their original compositions. The least you can do is credit them properly.
