Somehow this reminds of one feat I once managed to accomplish C&C3 Tiberium wars. I brought down a lone Scrin Mothership with a single Mammoth Tank.

Unlike other units with 2 weapons (likes Flak Trooper), Apoc doesn't get elite secondary (Mammoth Tusk missile). So, if you're so eager to spam Apoc, back them up with Flak Tracks is a good idea.
And talking about Apocalypse ASSAULT TANK design, TBH, by IRL logic, it came out wrong. In fact, RA3 Apoc is what done right since the role of assault tank is the enemy defense not a better MBT. The assault tank concern is in the frontal arc not the flank and installing such overweighted AA defense is overkill and an unnecessary waste of space for fighting compartment that better be used for large caliber weapon and not double the amount of the existing weapon system. The prime example of assault tank is A39 Tortoise which later became obsolete because of the arrival of Chieftain Series that can do the same job with better versatility.

Apocalypse tank in Red Alert (1995) was named Mammoth tank, and also could shoot aerial units and more over it shoot infantry with those rockets killing them with oneshot and dealing splash damage to nearby nfantry.
