Nigerian leather is used by designers around the world. Big brands come down and buy the amazing leather out here.
Adire is indigenous to Nigeria, uses an ancient tie-dye technique, and was created by the Yoruba people. The best city in Nigeria to buy adire is in Abeokuta.
A lot of shoes and bags in Nigeria can be customized to your exact shoe size and color preference.

Nice. If every Nigerian was conscious as you in terms of home made our economy would be much better.
Iveoma Keep up the good work of showing Nigeria to the world, I had plan to move to Osun State in 2020, but then covid19 happen.
Thank you 🙏🏾 Good luck with your plans to move to Osun State though!

Fashion can as well conquer the world
I can just imagine a 'Made in Nigeria' boutique, I mean, so luxe, so beautiful, so classically African 🤗❤🙌
My aunty has been making adire in Abeokuta for over 20yrs. She is multi millionaire in dollars. She has bulk buyers from all over the world including europe. There are special tie dye fabrics from the North but I forget the name
Niceeee @ Aunty. Abeokuta is an amazing place to purchase adire!
Indigo
Can I have the name of the company?
I love the leader bags, very good quality and stunning. On a lighter note, I'm addicted to Naija "Golden Morn" here in US.
Honestly, Nigeria has quality products. When we talk of Nigeria market, we mean entire West Africa, central Africa and as far as DRC. Those nations import a lot of Made In Nigeria products. I guess is the reason, why some made in Nigeria products are expensive due to high demand
Yes, the leather in Nigeria is amazing quality!! The market is huge, a lot of products go from Nigeria to other African countries! It's big business.
It’s expensive Bc the generator costs plus a lot of the production cost is higher here. Once Nigeria has steady power “one day” prices may drop just because an artisan won’t have to add all that into the cost of making the product. They can scale but unfortunately until power is addressed it is a huge hindrance to creating factories and standardizing the process.
Those purses are so cute😊 I can tell the quality is amazing. I was surprised to learn Nigeria products can be purchased on Instagram. I assumed to get authentic made in Nigeria products you had to be in the country to buy them. Yes, I learned on a "Best Countries in Africa" video a few months ago that Nigeria is the biggest hub for business in Africa. Awesome video Iveoma!🤗
Yes, we were surprised how much business is done on IG. Many Nigerian stores are shipping around the world and they do not have a physical store. Yes @ biggest hub for business in Africa!!
Very high quality merchandise!
Very high quality products!!
I love Shea Butter and cotton t-shirts in Nigeria. The best.
I really enjoyed watching that. Nice products. 👏
Thank you 😊
Simply beautiful and so inspiring...
Beautiful. You have great taste.
God bless you
Wow Wow Wow. the quality is amazing
The quality is amazing!!
I wish all Nigerians home and abroad wears nigeria fabrics to show the world that good things can come of nigeria
We do need to wear more traditional fabrics and think about where our fabrics are actually made.
To be honest some Nigerians here in the UK are not doing bad in terms wearing Nigerian made fashion. You see a lot of them on Sundays when going to church or when there are special occasions like weddings and traditional cultural events. Making Nigerian clothes in London is crazily expensive. What some of us do is to get designers or tailors in Nigeria to make them and courier them to the UK.
Nigerians wear Nigerian fashion around the world but a lot of it is ankara. Ankara is mostly produced in Europe and Asia very few is made in Nigeria.
I would have loved to subscribe to your channel more than once but don't think it's possible. Thanks Ivi and we shall overcome these polithiefcians and Naija shall be great. Greetings from Germany.
Welcome aboard!
You can try Brocade or Shada. This is fabric commonly used in northern Nigeria. You can get them from the house traders is Lagos, but they're cheaper in Kano. You can also this fabric commonly made in Kogi and Benue states. Interestingly most states in the middle belt make them. I have forgotten the name in English.🙈. It's the aso oke version of the middle belt.

Thank you for the suggestion and locations for production for brocade or shada. Will look it up.
