This was a really informative video. I agree with you re the orange. I am looking for a realistic electric fireplace that has a heater. Your review was helpful. The only other realistic electric fireplaces I see are the Dimplex series and the very best,; Magikflame, that's extremely expensive; but the real deal with flames, crackling sounds, realistic logs, etc. Thanks for this review
1st of all Thanks for the review. Very useful. One small request: Could you please comment on how much noise the fan makes in each power setting? A free "Sound Meter" app can be used for this. After 2 years I still love the the fireplace, it works great and helps warm up a small area. As for the noise there is some noise but its not noticeable with the tv on. I have this fireplace about 6ft from my couch and the noise is noticeable IF you listen for it. The noise is due to the fan which cycles on and off. The noise is there but I don't think its a deal breaker. I would still buy it. Thanks for leaving a comment.
Yes every winter I use it. It's great when it's cold outside and you turn it on, it will help heat a 60/100 sft area. It does bring your electric bill up if you use it for hours everyday. I use it on hight heat then switch to low heat and sometimes when it's not too cold just use the fire effect with not heat for ambiance. It's a great electric fireplace. Right now there's better ones out there especially the fire effect but I still use and like this one.
