WOW...fantastic... at 0:20 as you walked out of your hotel, right across the street, the brick building was where i was employed, it was a bank then.. maybe insurance company now.. thanks again.. 👍💛👍
Oh wow, so within like 30 seconds of the video starting you saw your old work! Haha. Hopefully the wait for the video was worth it. Montpelier is a small, but super interesting little town. Crazy that it’s the state capital.
@@IanMartinExploration I worked in that Bank for about 10 years. so really enjoyed the tour of the city... I live in Connecticut now... 👍
Another great video. I also see that you are an iced coffee drinker as well.
Thanks! And yep, I’m a cold brew addict!
Love your videos. Nice narrative, a bit of history, interesting facts. Good photography too. You bring us places a lot of us cannot travel to ourselves but can learn and feel as if we're visiting these locations. Thank you for your work.
Nicely done video. I am visiting there in late May. Will be staying at the same hotel you did.
thanks. the lay of the land before recent floods.nature rules....... heard years ago it was a sweet place to work.
I love your videos! It is like I am there walking around with you!
Thank you so much! That’s what I’m trying to create, so it’s encouraging that that’s how it makes you feel!
Charming!
Funky little place. Yeah, so many places big and small have much less foot traffic than they used to before the pandemic. A lot of offices have stayed remote or at least have different onsite arrangements than before, going in on flexible schedules. I live near Washington, DC and the downtown there is still very much recovering from the pandemic since so many federal agencies are still working remote to various degrees. I would guess in a tiny capital of a tiny state like Vermont that any significant degree of remote state work would really turn that place into a ghost town. Seems relatively prosperous, though. There are cute small towns and depressing small towns and Montpelier definitely seems like the former.
I'm gonna move there.
Keep it up channel will grow. Sent videos to several people already. Good work.
Thank you! And thank you for watching and supporting!
