The deal probably didn’t get done and Duncan saved himself money from the dissolvency. I think I saw a stat where 60 or 70 percent of the investments don’t get done for one reason or another.
The deal apparently didn’t go ahead from the offset. It’s not that he would have saved himself, if he invested the business could have done well!
Around 70-75% is the figure you're looking for. So much for "closing the deal" by way of a handshake and doesn't it look good on tv? 😂

Which isn't enough for it to be worth it along with the risk and big initial investment I think he was saying
But they save 15% of the already reduced wholesale price and have to pay 8% of the much higher retail price so they do pay more

Clear daylight robbery. The strategy here was for the dragons to hammer the guy, make him feel small and foolish. 4 dragons declare themselves out and the one dragon that's left comes to his rescue with a offer that seems like he is saving him. When in actual fact he is ripping him off.
Well they can easily say no once the cameras stop rolling, they may also get offered outside investments at a better deal
