Great review! Admittedly, Joel, I love this game for what it represents and simulates. As a former history major with a minor in economics, I think it does a brilliant job distilling the essence of the classes and the state which is no small feat. My first game had three players, and I feel as though it's a game that you want to teach to a core group and get a number of plays under your belt. I hope to get this one to the Gaming Table at one of the microcons slated for later this year.
Thank you for this video! I was interested in the concept of the game initially but it wasn't what I was hoping for. It's more of a democratic capitalism simulator than an earnest examination of class struggle, like what if Arkwright but someone also played the workers.
