Gemma taking us to a retro gaming market? Let's gooooooo!!! I have Cold Fear on the PS2 - Quick tip: If you can get it cheaper for the OG Xbox, go for it. Looks better. 🤘
It was nice to chat with you briefly and that you found the games you were after. I was on the stall helping my mate sell his collection to buy a house to fill with arcade cabs :). We had Hitler front and center on the stall, which did raise the odd chuckle. Oh my I just saw your list and one of the games you were after, Maximo. Eddie was selling it and I snagged it (apologies) as it was a game I was after. I even got it’s sequel Army of Zinn in the post today :). It was a great day even if it was a little warm in there.
Oh I must have been to you and your mate's stall then! I remember the Hitler lol, and bought Children of Mana off you guys. It was a great day! Hope your friend made lots of money 🙏
Was really nice to stop and have a chat with you! (Unfortunately still couldn't find a boxed copy of Pokemon Leaf Green). Picked up a few absolute bargains on some boxed SNES games, bit of a shame that some of them were ridiculously overpriced, but was overall a good 3 or so hours of hunting!
@@TheGebs24 Mario all stars Mint boxed, for £35, Donkey Kong country mint boxed for £35 and then killer instinct for £20 (was in fairly good condition).
Nice games and other stuff there, that dashboard toy for instance was intriguing as a kid in the 80's, but never got one. Knight Rider NES game is also cool find :) I have a children's songs cd from 2004, which includes Knight Rider theme "sound a like" track by Tom Lake (first track), and the cd cover art has similar KITT artwork as the NES Knight Rider game :)
Maximo £8 and you hesitated.... Good job you picked it up and I wasn't there. I went to the Doncaster show to pick up an IPS GBA console and the stand didnt show. Now it turns up in Birmingham.
Can't believe how expensive Mega Turrican is now. I guess it might be a bit more popular in the UK since you have the home computers Turrican was developed for. Reminding me I need Charge n Blast for Dreamcast. The Price keeps going up because people are realizeing how unique a shooter experience it is. The fighting games like street fighter 2 probably are missing the manual because someone needed to pull it out to intensely study the controls. Might be missing out on a lot of good games only accepting Complete in the box. But its also good to be selective so you don't burnout buying everything.
Loved the vid Gemma , I need to keep track of these retro events. I think I would have more fun , grabbing retro stuff than just relying on ebay alone.
Enjoy watching you browse. Thanks for letting us be a part of it! I always find such markets great, even if I haven't been to one in a long time. But I think if I get a tax refund anytime soon, I'll pay a visit to the game stores in Holland. Are only 4hrs travel time. "Maximo" is a good choice. There's also a successor to... I think that speaks for itself. Do you primarily collect for the PS2? The Arcade Stickers: do you know a good place for them?
Is Suikoden at 21:32 any good? I don't remember playing that game, but PS1 had 1000s of games. Still remember Resident Evil 2 & 3 and Gran Turismo 2 from 2000, now 23 years ago, time flies really fast. In 2000 my personal fav. was Metal Gear Solid.
Such a shame, hold of love to come down again I was working hopefully next time I get to talk to you again brilliant thank you for sharing 🎮🎮🎮 I’m in Liverpool now so I’ll take some time to get to Birmingham. 🤣🤣

I don't see many game markets these days..I remember years and years ago there was an abundance of them... definitely none where or at least none I know of.
The prices and selection at this one were really poor, most the tables I just ended up walking away as soon as I saw the prices. The SNES and Mega Drive selection was mostly common fodder as well. As always I found the gems digging around under the tables, bought loads of the loose SNES carts from Vintage Gamers huge boxes full.

Damn, £48 for urban reign?! I only paid £1 from a reused shop complete and everything. Cex sell it for only £28, Gaming markets are so overpriced 👎

Hi, I actually got to meet you here.
I was the kid that got a PS1 for £20
It was great to have seem you in person, I've been watching for years
I love watching people from overseas hunt. I always spot games we didnt get in America. The cover art is almost always better than ours as well.
I wish there was a resource that showed all the retro game events coming up. I keep missing these 😭

Have anyone heard of this PS2 game called URBAN CHAOS?
A beautiful fighting game I wish to play it back in the ps2 days man.

That Dreamcast Shenmue 2 is pretty rare.
X-Files Resist or Serve isn't bad for a Resident Evil clone
Super Street Fighter 2 Manual is a bit chunky which is why they were often thrown away. I wish I kept mine.
The suffering on PS2 may be my favourite PS2 game... you will love it 👍
I think I’ll stream it this weekend on Twitch 🙌
PS2, thats my THING (pun intended) i saw so many good games i want ! I always like this kind of videos. Thanks.
Ooooo, that Diablo II set. The hours and hours I spent playing both Diablo & Diablo II back in the day.
💜💜💜
Pretty amazing right
diablo II was like crack in the old days. Spent a good 4 years on it.
Burnout 2 POI was my favourite game … crash junctions were ace!
I absolutely love these videos hopefully it's coming back to Birmingham in December I really wanna go just for the experience
I don't usually go on Nostalgia trips but when you pulled out Mr. Domino I went on a journey to back in the day, great vid Gem!

Hi Gemma I don’t know if you noticed but when you picked up the Genji cold fear was at the top you placed the street fighter 2 on top of it
I missed that 😯😯😯

Anyone know how to contact the arcade stickers guy? He had some great stuff
