  • In this episode I focus more on street scenes which have layers and try to create more interesting pictures, and maybe even some mini stories.
Whilst its not super important for every picture to have multiple layers, it is worthwhile spending time getting used to this mindset to help sharpen your skills on the street.

I love that you challenge and question every aspect of your work! This is why your images are always evolving ❤

I see great depth in these images. The knocked over e-bike on the footpath is very symbolic of the apathy in this dystopian modern society. Such a great new tool, all colourful and new looking just completely unappreciated. A society of so much excess, but I bet the guitarist busker hardly made enough to buy dinner. Some things have no value at all but we will spend so much on cosmetics and aesthetics….and coffee. Great shots mate.

For me it’s always the flickering light. Any time I see one in public, I’m automatically sent to films like Bladerunner, Terminator, Robocop.

Thanks for sharing your insights. I feel the same each and every time I see discarded e-bikes.
That busker was fantastic, and it was pleasing to see at least a handful of people putting cash into his case.

I found myself pausing at 4:31 and reading all the posters on that wall. Great background for street shots.

That was a great video. It focuses on the process rather than the results. And reminding yourself to purpose of the day’s activity in itself provides the high end results.
I really enjoyed this. Well done.

Beautiful. And a nice little challenge to give yourself. As another mate of mine who is a photographer says, shoot like it’s film. Make it count. He was a very late adopter to digital. And now Pentax released a film camera. 😂
Good to see you’re always looking at improving yourself. I always love all your photography work. You have something there.❤

I weely liked the wheelie shot.

Me too. What I didn’t like about that scene was the vulgar disrespectful language that came out of that kid after a member of the public was hit by him while performing a wheelie, and asked the kids to be careful.
