I LOVE the name for these, "BABY BLOOMERS" :)
For these particular bloomers i used Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran 50g with 5mm circular needles and i worked them in the round using magic loop method
Step 1: cast on 72 stitches
Step 2: work in the round 2x2 rib for 1inch
Step 3: Work one round of YO
Step 4: work another 3-4 rounds of rib
Step 5: work 3 inches on stockinette
Step 6: work the garter stitch (3-4 ridges)
Step 7: divide the work into two
NOW WE ARE WORKING IN THE FLAT
Step 8: decreses (every right side row) for the frony flat of the bloomers, until you are left with 18 stitches (4 garter border, 10 stickinette, 4 garder border)DON'T bind off, instead put your stitches on stitch holder
Step 9: work about 1 inch without decresing, then start the decreses for the back flap (on the right side and on the wrong side) until you are left with 18 sts (4 garter border, 10 stickinette, 4 garder border)
Step 10: joint both flaps with kitchener stitch
Yay!!! we are done, well, actually not done, we still need to weave in the end, and make an icord or crochet string

I'm using thinner yarn so do you have more specific measurements; width of waist and legs and length from top to bottom? I don't have the baby to measure on. A friend of mine is pregnant and I would like to knit these beautiful bloomers for her little baby girl.

Buna Iulia, da, sunt mai multe metode, eu tricotez ca la noi in Ro, si rezultatul este la fel ca și cel englezesc 😊

Hi! I'm just a beginner to knitting. Could you please tell me if I use size 6 circular needles will this make a larger diaper cover? My baby is 1 year old so this would be a good thing!
Lisa, you will have to check your gauge, depends what yarn you use and needles size.

How long are your circular needles? 100cm? And what brand if you don't mind sharing it with us.Thank you
The ones I use in most of my videos are KnitPro interchangeable needles, you can choose what length cord to put, I can’t remember exactly the size I used here but usually I go for 80-100 cm cord for magic loop knitting
