How Tim’s eyes were open when he was unconscious, I don’t understand. I’m surprised Stephen didn’t just hit Tim over the head with that pipe again as soon as he’d woken up, to be honest.

I wish Tim had just gone to the police station on his own and reported that Stephen was acting suspiciously by the canal instead of investigating himself but I have no doubt Stephen would have followed him wherever he went. This reminds me of when Richard Hillman tried to kill the Platt family.

I played it over 2, 3 times. There's still a chance Tim is alive. With Stephen backing off because of the helicopter, while Stephen is making his way away from the car in the dark of the night, just maybe Tim is still alive.
His eyes were open when he was knocked out, but he still managed to be alive, he just has a knack of his eyes being open pretending to be dead it seems.
