Finally the whole street gets to see The real Stephen Reid. David made me laugh arguing with Stephen about his car. Todd Boyce has been brilliant as Stephen Reid.
HI Luke, I agree with you actor Todd Boyce did his part well and to play evil killer Stephen Reid. He is suppose to be Audrey Roberts son before she got married of course. Who the dad is no one knows . Kept it quiet for all these years. As for Stephen Reid he took pub owner Jenny Connor hostage and tried to kidknapp her and take her money and take the pub money aswell. When Stephen Reid was killed off last night. The man in the factory tried by giving first aid before the ambulance arrived to take over. Anyway he died in the road . Now the police can`t send him down and have him put on trial for the murders and crimes he has done either. To late now of course. Maybe it was time someone got rid of Stephen Reid for good. Maybe actor Todd Boyce was leaving to go onto other actting roles. Maybe in panto around christmas time etc. Also Jo Dutton who played Tim Metcalfe in the ITV soap opera. He got in a fight with Stephen Reid and he got angry and went back to phone the police and tell them he found a body in the canal. Then Stephen got angry and took it out on Tim Metcalfe and killed him in revenge and srangled Tim by accident. Maybe they had a grude against each other for a good number of years. Didn`t like each other very much in the end. And it turned nasty too. From Valerie in Oban Argyll. Scotland UK.
@@valerieweight1370 Thanks Valerie, I'm in Canada and we are just up to the episode when Jenny tells Stephen in the Cafe, she thinks going to Thailand is a bit much and it's time to stop dreaming. I just wish that Kevin was there to say “HE’S OUT OF CONTROL HE’S A MANIAC!” Like Stephan said about Kevin when he smashed his car up last year. Full circle 😂
His going go down 4 it 😢😢 his leaving the show and that's probably how..even though that police women was investigating Stephen and had a feeling his a killer..Peter will go down
Peter may have thought he was saving Jenny but Stephen actually let Jenny go at the last minute and didn't kill her. Unfortunately Peter did not see that.
@@lilmizeezee8350 Murdering a murderer is still murder. I'd love to hear a Glaswegian like the late great Taggart say that after a few pints of heavy!
I was expecting David to say ‘Give over’ and drive off or drive into Stephen. David has always had his moments around cars, like his Fiesta and his Astra
Audrey naturally loves Stephen unconditionally because she is his mother - I can't blame her for that. Stephen is not as bad as Richard Hillman was but even Richard Hillman wrote and signed a confession saying that Gail had nothing to do with his crimes. Tony Gordon changed his mind about killing Roy as Roy saved his life. When he held Carla hostage he did not harm Maria or baby Liam because he still loved them.
So Peter gets ruined in the process of this ridiculous storyline and Ken now has two children who have killed someone. Stephen will become a martyr now. Audrey’s clearly going to think her son was a misunderstood saint that Peter killed on purpose. At least we know how Chris Gascoyne leaves.
Well Audrey is Stephen's mother so naturally she will be angry and heartbroken that Peter killed him. The difference is that Tracey killed Charlie in cold blood and tried to make it look like self defence while Peter thought Stephen was trying to kill Jenny (though he changed his mind at the last moment) - I don't think Peter is ruined but the character is boring so I'm not bothered.
Actually a good week of Corrie. But stephens overacting is a bad as Dev’s - made tonight’s episode more comical than terrifying. Also, Stephen’s victims weren’t big characters at all. When Hillman killed Maxine that was shocking. Good final week for Stephen but not the best Corrie has seen.
A brilliant ending to a brilliant storyline. Stephen was a good business man who got into a bad situation and ended up making things far worse. Unlike Phelan or Hillman Stephen still done a lot of good things…. He wasn’t evil jusr desperate. I genuinely do feel so sorry for him and don’t think he deserved all this to happen to him. He was a good man that got desperate and became vicious
John is a bit different though - he got insomnia after he killed Charlotte and had a nervous breakdown after he killed Joy. He showed huge remorse but Stephen showed minimal remorse. I would say Stephen is a mixture of Tony Gordon and Richard Hillman but he wasn't as far gone as Richard and like Tony he ultimately couldn't bring himself to harm people he loved. @@suekelly840
I agree that Stephen should have made different choices - if he didn't like Carla he should have found another job not drugged her and he certainly shouldn't have killed poor Rufus in cold blood - however when he was temporarily in charge of the factory he was an excellent boss - calm, confident, laid back, charismatic. By the way the previous poster said a good businessman not a good man. @AJB3
