He already did it with Gene, with the journalist and now it will be the turn of the person responsible for the death of his daughter, now it's Barry's turn, so everything has gone to hell and everything is ready for the last 2 episodes...
Because Barry is vulnerable a lot times. He’s good at what he does, but throughout the series we’ve seen Barry mess up quite a few times in his profession. Season 1, he left the file on the raid out in the open in his car and that ended up getting Taylor involved and causing an entire domino effect. He was so focused on impressing Sally with a gift he bought. Then instead of waiting and sniping the Latino guy’s head clean off, he chooses to instead go and choke him to death (while there are people partying next door) to hurry up and to be with Sally. In season 2, instead of completely getting rid of Janice’s body, he dumps her in her car just a few miles away from Gene’s cabin. And of course in season 3, he didn’t see the trap laid for him by Gene and Jim. I think it’s safe to say Barry’s emotions tend to blind him at times if Fuches isn’t there to keep him on track. You can’t have too many emotions in a profession like his.
