I’d be 60 getting hyped from gear second while my kids explain to their children, “he’s just re-reading One Piece again.” One piece is truly a masterpiece of not just a manga, but of anything else in this world. Agree, it's not just manga for me. It's more than that and I am thankful for that masterpiece created. It's more like my important treasure that accompanies my growth process. Even I will hit my 30 yo and finally little by little leave manga world but if someone asks me what manga I wanna re-read again? I will no doubt give "One Piece" as my answer. When I was a child and afraid of getting a shot at the doctor’s office, I thought about how Nami took a huge spike through the foot in Alabasta and handled it fine... so I could handle a little needle. When I wanted to waste food or eat more than I needed to, I thought about how angry it would make Sanji and took a fair share and finished my plate. As I got older I imagined Robin calmly helping me to study for all my school tests, and Luffy encouraging me to enter new jobs with confidence and a smile. I’ve never said anything when this came out but I think enough time has passed for me to realize how damn lucky I am to watch/read One Piece. I remember how eager I was to start last year and how it would help me start a new chapter of my life. After a breakup that felt backstabbing and losing a sense of meaningful engagement with the world, I remember wanting to start fresh and One Piece gave me that fresh start. And now everyday I make sure to never forget the moments that makes One Piece so special. The way it teaches us to keep moving forward with your dreams, your passions. To never let them be challenged and if they are to be challenged, then never waver from them. Can't believe it came to this but Oda deserves it all. It is bigger than just a manga right now, it's iconic, it's legendary. So glad I'm alive to witness this greatness. And hopefully the day Oda will decide to put down the pen and draw its last chapter, I can witness it with my own two eyes.

I’ve never said anything when this came out but I think enough time has passed for me to realize how damn lucky I am to watch/read One Piece. I remember how eager I was to start last year and how it would help me start a new chapter of my life. After a breakup that felt backstabbing and losing a sense of meaningful engagement with the world, I remember wanting to start fresh and One Piece gave me that fresh start. And now everyday I make sure to never forget the moments that makes One Piece so special. The way it teaches us to keep moving forward with your dreams, your passions. To never let them be challenged and if they are to be challenged, then never waver from them. To always smile and remember that we have one life in this world and the best we can do is simply to have fun and be with those we love the most.
