The pandemic really messed with my daily routine-used to do my makeup & hair everyday and it was so fun, and now I *might* put on mascara. I sleep in too late to have time for makeup anymore 😭
For my morning skin care routine it's about 7 or 8 steps. For night, it's about 10 steps, give or take.
my ideal skincare day consists of about 6 or 7 steps, make up is probably about 101 & hair is like 4!! I used to be so low maintenance when I was younger but skincare & beauty is just far too important to me now! Makes me feel so good!! 🙈🤍
…But on a lazy day I’d say maybe 4 😂
maybe 2: brush teeth and splash cold water on my face. my curls get so knotted that i only deal with them when i wash them once a week

I love that you go over how to care for and style curly hair. So many stylists don’t know about curly hair and how many variations of curly hair there are! Growing up I struggled a lot with accepting my curly hair. I would try to straighten it all the time because I wanted the hair everyone else had. I had friends and stylists who always wanted to straighten my hair. I’ve come to accept it but there are times I get annoyed with it. Seeing you love your curls and love who you are makes me realize I need to do the same. Thank you! 😊
Me too, 1000%. I'd straighten it or just put it in a ponytail all the time which now the front of my hair is so thin and not much there. Ugh. But appreciating it now that I know how to manage it :)

Yes!! Me too. Now that I stopped straightening it and embraced my wavy curls, my hair is SOOO MUCH HEALTHIER! It's stronger, has more shine to it, feels thicker -- it's all I ever wanted in straight hair. Lol all I had to do all this time was embracing my true self ❤

Your doctor speaks the truth! I am hair loss paranoid, and have done a lot of googling. 😅 It seems Biotin studies have shown it can improve hair in truely biotin deficient individuals. But it's rare in the general healthy population. So most people won't have really any benefit.

Ok , you made me cry for like a week str8 here watching you and listening to all your beautiful words to people on all these shows you do. Your wonderful. Please make a mens line of dresses! I want to look professional going out in a dress, not like i am wearing a kilt, and not to feminine. For years i have worn a blanket around my waist, my niece would draw pictures of our family and myself "uncle" always had a dress on. The teacher was amused at why her uncle wore a dress. Enjoy your day beautiful person, you do a lot of good for people.

Thanks for your lovely videos, especially the ones about curly hair. They are always fun and entertaining and informative! As for favorite products that have been discontinued, I have never forgiven Cover Girl for discontinuing Marathon Mascara. The best waterproof mascara ever made! I have never found a replacement at any price point.

L'ANZA's original formula moisture shampoo (in the tall, skinny bottle) and the matching detangler. Also their urban effects shine gel. I've searched high n low for something similar but alas I've had no luck.

I love the call outs for using lots of product. i am struggling to identify my hair texture (its fine, seems to be very wavy but not ringlet curls), but it is SOO dry. Hairdressers for years have told me it was heat damage, except I use so little heat and heat spray the once a month I do...I feel they failed to understand the texture or help me recognise it is hair needing more product RATHER than just heat damage..on undyed, unheat treated hair -_-

My neurologist almost screamed when I told him I was taking biotin supplements and told me about six times during the appointment that I needed to stop taking it, haha. Apparently it really messes up bloodwork results. I asked him if he had an alternative to suggest for my PCOS hair loss and he said "No, just stop taking biotin." Thanks for the help, brotato.

I have a question though... for straight hair that's a little bit more coarse (I have "Asian" hair") how would you recommend maintaining it keeping in mind humidity (rainy weather type of moment)?

I remember a songtext: " Her hair reminds me of a warm safe place, where as a child i hide... " I want to grab these shiny curls with both hands and hide my face in! ❤Couldn´t believe that these simple Fingercurls stay fixed. I think I bought the wrong stuff all the time. My routine is once a week a peeling while I have a shower, daily after shower I first use a hydration gel cream or serum if its very dry, then a wrinkle gel for the eyes and after that I use a rich cream for the dry areas. I use sunscreen only before I go outside. Nobody who don´t know guess my real age. 😉
But there are more things you can do for your skin like no smoking, drink less alkohol but enough water and get enough sleep. 😆These curls made my day...🥰

Yeah thank you so much for this video I've been waiting for it. I have every one of your products I didn't know how to use them. I have naturally curly hair but I blow it dry because it's so much easier for me. But when it's raining outside like you said I will do it exactly like you did thank you thank you thank you. You did it nice and slow so I can follow now can you do one with blowing your hair out straight. I use one of those hot brushes I use low heat. I also have Dyson. Love you
