Only a few accounts got banned, also, TMWhatsapp is a copy of Whatsapp Aero - a MUCH safer app with an official website

True. There can't be much done though. There are very few apps that aren't on Play Store and are good and isn't related to piracy or does anything that intrudes tos etc.
I think that's for new subscribers like me that haven't seen his previous videos and clicked on the video after getting recommendation.

Simple Calendar Pro is great. This developer has many other simple apps - all are for free in F-Droid repository. Some of them are also in Play Store.
